וְעַתָּ֕ה שְֽׁמַֽע־ נָ֖א אֲדֹנִ֣י הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ תִּפָּל־ נָ֤א תְחִנָּתִי֙ לְפָנֶ֔יךָ וְאַל־ תְּשִׁבֵ֗נִי בֵּ֚ית יְהוֹנָתָ֣ן הַסֹּפֵ֔ר וְלֹ֥א אָמ֖וּת שָֽׁם׃
שָׁ֣מָּה קֽ͏ָבְר֞וּ אֶת־ אַבְרָהָ֗ם וְאֵת֙ שָׂרָ֣ה אִשְׁתּ֔וֹ שָׁ֚מָּה קָבְר֣וּ אֶת־ יִצְחָ֔ק וְאֵ֖ת רִבְקָ֣ה אִשְׁתּ֑וֹ וְשָׁ֥מָּה קָבַ֖רְתִּי אֶת־ לֵאָֽה׃
לֹא־ יִשָּׁמַ֨ע ע֤וֹד חָמָס֙ בְּאַרְצֵ֔ךְ שֹׁ֥ד וָשֶׁ֖בֶר בִּגְבוּלָ֑יִךְ וְקָרָ֤את יְשׁוּעָה֙ חוֹמֹתַ֔יִךְ וּשְׁעָרַ֖יִךְ תְּהִלָּֽה׃
וּבִשְׁנַ֣ת שְׁתַּ֗יִם לְמַלְכוּת֙ נְבֻֽכַדְנֶצַּ֔ר חָלַ֥ם נְבֻֽכַדְנֶצַּ֖ר חֲלֹמ֑וֹת וַתִּתְפָּ֣עֶם רוּח֔וֹ וּשְׁנָת֖וֹ נִהְיְתָ֥ה עָלָֽיו׃
וַיָּב֗וֹא אֶל־ הַגּוֹיִם֙ אֲשֶׁר־ בָּ֣אוּ שָׁ֔ם וַֽיְחַלְּל֖וּ אֶת־ שֵׁ֣ם קָדְשִׁ֑י בֶּאֱמֹ֤ר לָהֶם֙ עַם־ יְהוָ֣ה אֵ֔לֶּה וּמֵאַרְצ֖וֹ יָצָֽאוּ׃
וַיִּתְקַ֤ע יוֹאָב֙ בַּשּׁוֹפָ֔ר וַיַּֽעַמְדוּ֙ כָּל־ הָעָ֔ם וְלֹֽא־ יִרְדְּפ֥וּ ע֖וֹד אַחֲרֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְלֹֽא־ יָסְפ֥וּ ע֖וֹד לְהִלָּחֵֽם׃
וְהַמֶּ֗לֶךְ מְדַבֵּר֙ אֶל־ גֵּ֣חֲזִ֔י נַ֥עַר אִישׁ־ הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים לֵאמֹ֑ר סַפְּרָה־ נָּ֣א לִ֔י אֵ֥ת כָּל־ הַגְּדֹל֖וֹת אֲשֶׁר־ עָשָׂ֥ה אֱלִישָֽׁע׃
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה פִּתְאֹ֗ם אֶל־ מֹשֶׁ֤ה וְאֶֽל־ אַהֲרֹן֙ וְאֶל־ מִרְיָ֔ם צְא֥וּ שְׁלָשְׁתְּכֶ֖ם אֶל־ אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד וַיֵּצְא֖וּ שְׁלָשְׁתָּֽם׃
וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח יִצְחָק֙ אֶֽת־ יַעֲקֹ֔ב וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ פַּדֶּ֣נָֽה אֲרָ֑ם אֶל־ לָבָ֤ן בֶּן־ בְּתוּאֵל֙ הָֽאֲרַמִּ֔י אֲחִ֣י רִבְקָ֔ה אֵ֥ם יַעֲקֹ֖ב וְעֵשָֽׂו׃
כְּדָת֙ מַֽה־ לַּעֲשׂ֔וֹת בַּמַּלְכָּ֖ה וַשְׁתִּ֑י עַ֣ל ׀ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹֽא־ עָשְׂתָ֗ה אֶֽת־ מַאֲמַר֙ הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ אֲחַשְׁוֵר֔וֹשׁ בְּיַ֖ד הַסָּרִיסִֽים׃
And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.

yuvaM shriyam ashvinaa devataa taaM divo napaataa vanathaH shaciibhiH
abhi svaranti bahavo maniiSiNo raajaanam asya bhuvanasya niMsate

Ἑκατοντάρχου δέ τινος δοῦλος κακῶς ἔχων ἤμελλεν τελευτᾶν, ὃς ἦν αὐτῷ ἔντιμος.
وَتَبَارَكَ الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَعِنْدَهُ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
فَآتِ ذَا الْقُرْبَى حَقَّهُ وَالْمِسْكِينَ وَابْنَ السَّبِيلِ ذَلِكَ خَيْرٌ لِلَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ وَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ
