Privacy
Cookie Policy
Theonyma keeps cookies and local storage minimal: auth, security, display preferences, and intentional product state.
Last updated May 7, 2026Signed-in account features need essential auth cookies or equivalent browser storage.
Day, Night, Compact, and Full display choices stay local until a signed-in user saves them to the account.
Theonyma should not use advertising cookies; analytics require a policy update before launch use.
Essential cookies
Theonyma uses essential cookies or equivalent browser storage for authentication, security, and session state when a user signs in through Clerk.
These cookies are needed for private account, Library, and future reading features. The calculator can still be used without signing in.
Local device storage
The app stores display preferences such as Day, Night, Compact, and Full locally on the device. Signed-in users can also save those choices as private account settings.
Calculator drafts may be remembered locally for convenience. They are not anonymously saved to Postgres and are not public match data.
Analytics and advertising
Theonyma should not use advertising cookies. If analytics or measurement tools are added, this policy must be updated before launch use.
Public AI and crawler files must not include private Library, account, paid report, or anonymous draft data.
Managing cookies
Users can clear browser site data, sign out of the account menu, or block nonessential cookies in browser settings.
Blocking essential auth cookies can prevent private Library, account, and future paid reading features from working.
