בָּ֠רִאשׁוֹן בְּאַרְבָּעָ֨ה עָשָׂ֥ר יוֹם֙ לַחֹ֔דֶשׁ יִהְיֶ֥ה לָכֶ֖ם הַפָּ֑סַח חָ֕ג שְׁבֻע֣וֹת יָמִ֔ים מַצּ֖וֹת יֵאָכֵֽל׃
לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה הִנְנִ֥י עָלַ֖יִךְ צֹ֑ר וְהַעֲלֵיתִ֤י עָלַ֙יִךְ֙ גּוֹיִ֣ם רַבִּ֔ים כְּהַעֲל֥וֹת הַיָּ֖ם לְגַלָּֽיו׃
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲלֵהֶ֗ם יְהִ֨י כֵ֤ן יְהוָה֙ עִמָּכֶ֔ם כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר אֲשַׁלַּ֥ח אֶתְכֶ֖ם וְאֶֽת־ טַפְּכֶ֑ם רְא֕וּ כִּ֥י רָעָ֖ה נֶ֥גֶד פְּנֵיכֶֽם׃
וְאִם־ בְּחֻקֹּתַ֣י תִּמְאָ֔סוּ וְאִ֥ם אֶת־ מִשְׁפָּטַ֖י תִּגְעַ֣ל נַפְשְׁכֶ֑ם לְבִלְתִּ֤י עֲשׂוֹת֙ אֶת־ כָּל־ מִצְוֺתַ֔י לְהַפְרְכֶ֖ם אֶת־ בְּרִיתִֽי׃
וּבְאֵ֙לֶּה֙ לֹא־ הָ֣יָה אִ֔ישׁ מִפְּקוּדֵ֣י מֹשֶׁ֔ה וְאַהֲרֹ֖ן הַכֹּהֵ֑ן אֲשֶׁ֥ר פָּקְד֛וּ אֶת־ בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בְּמִדְבַּ֥ר סִינָֽי׃
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ׀ לְמֶ֣לֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל הַרְכֵּ֤ב יָֽדְךָ֙ עַל־ הַקֶּ֔שֶׁת וַיַּרְכֵּ֖ב יָד֑וֹ וַיָּ֧שֶׂם אֱלִישָׁ֛ע יָדָ֖יו עַל־ יְדֵ֥י הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃
וַתִּבְלַ֙עְןָ֙ הַשִׁבֳּלִ֣ים הַדַּקֹּ֔ת אֵ֛ת שֶׁ֥בַע הַֽשִׁבֳּלִ֖ים הַטֹּב֑וֹת וָֽאֹמַר֙ אֶל־ הַֽחַרְטֻמִּ֔ים וְאֵ֥ין מַגִּ֖יד לִֽי׃
שְׁפַר֙ קֳדָ֣ם דָּרְיָ֔וֶשׁ וַהֲקִים֙ עַל־ מַלְכוּתָ֔א לַאֲחַשְׁדַּרְפְּנַיָּ֖א מְאָ֣ה וְעֶשְׂרִ֑ין דִּ֥י לֶהֱוֺ֖ן בְּכָל־ מַלְכוּתָֽא׃
והית וְֽהָיְתָ֞ה נִבְלַ֣ת אִיזֶ֗בֶל כְּדֹ֛מֶן עַל־ פְּנֵ֥י הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה בְּחֵ֣לֶק יִזְרְעֶ֑אל אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא־ יֹאמְר֖וּ זֹ֥את אִיזָֽבֶל׃
וַיֶּחֱזַ֨ק דָּוִ֤ד מִן־ הַפְּלִשְׁתִּי֙ בַּקֶּ֣לַע וּבָאֶ֔בֶן וַיַּ֥ךְ אֶת־ הַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֖י וַיְמִיתֵ֑הוּ וְחֶ֖רֶב אֵ֥ין בְּיַד־ דָּוִֽד׃
וְאַתֶּ֗ם לֹֽא־ תִכְרְת֤וּ בְרִית֙ לְיֽוֹשְׁבֵי֙ הָאָ֣רֶץ הַזֹּ֔את מִזְבְּחוֹתֵיהֶ֖ם תִּתֹּצ֑וּן וְלֹֽא־ שְׁמַעְתֶּ֥ם בְּקֹלִ֖י מַה־ זֹּ֥את עֲשִׂיתֶֽם׃
וְעַתָּ֗ה בִּתִּי֙ אַל־ תִּ֣ירְאִ֔י כֹּ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־ תֹּאמְרִ֖י אֶֽעֱשֶׂה־ לָּ֑ךְ כִּ֤י יוֹדֵ֙עַ֙ כָּל־ שַׁ֣עַר עַמִּ֔י כִּ֛י אֵ֥שֶׁת חַ֖יִל אָֽתְּ׃
And the lean and the ill favoured kine did eat up the first seven fat kine:
The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.
Give them, O LORD: what wilt thou give? give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts.
The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.
And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.
Is not destruction to the wicked? and a strange punishment to the workers of iniquity?
adha yad eSaaM niyutaH paramaaH samudrasya cid dhanayanta paare
asme dhehi dyumatiiM vaacam aasan bRhaspate anamiivaam iSiraam
ye sukratavaH shucayo dhiyaMdhaaH svadanti devaa ubhayaani havyaa
yas tubhyaM daashaad yo vaa te shikSaat tasmai cikitvaan rayiM dayasva
tad in nu te karaNaM dasma vipraahiM yad ghnann ojo atraamimiithaaH
agniM vishvaa abhi pRkSaH sacante samudraM na sravataH sapta yahviiH
ὑμεῖς φωνεῖτέ με Ὁ διδάσκαλος καὶ Ὁ κύριος, καὶ καλῶς λέγετε, εἰμὶ γάρ.
κἀγὼ ἐν ἀσθενείᾳ καὶ ἐν φόβῳ καὶ ἐν τρόμῳ πολλῷ ἐγενόμην πρὸς ὑμᾶς,
εἰ γὰρ ἐπιστεύετε Μωϋσεῖ, ἐπιστεύετε ἂν ἐμοί, περὶ γὰρ ἐμοῦ ἐκεῖνος ἔγραψεν.
