וְ֠אַף מָאנֵ֣י בֵית־ אֱלָהָא֮ דִּ֣י דַהֲבָ֣ה וְכַסְפָּא֒ דִּ֣י נְבֽוּכַדְנֶצַּ֗ר הַנְפֵּ֛ק מִן־ הֵיכְלָ֥א דִי־ בִירוּשְׁלֶ֖ם וְהֵיבֵ֣ל לְבָבֶ֑ל יַהֲתִיב֗וּן וִ֠יהָךְ לְהֵיכְלָ֤א דִי־ בִירֽוּשְׁלֶם֙ לְאַתְרֵ֔הּ וְתַחֵ֖ת בְּבֵ֥ית אֱלָהָֽא׃
וְאַבְשָׁלֹ֣ם לָקַ֗ח וַיַּצֶּב־ ל֤וֹ בחיו בְחַיָּיו֙ אֶת־ מַצֶּ֙בֶת֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּעֵֽמֶק־ הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ כִּ֤י אָמַר֙ אֵֽין־ לִ֣י בֵ֔ן בַּעֲב֖וּר הַזְכִּ֣יר שְׁמִ֑י וַיִּקְרָ֤א לַמַּצֶּ֙בֶת֙ עַל־ שְׁמ֔וֹ וַיִּקָּ֤רֵא לָהּ֙ יַ֣ד אַבְשָׁלֹ֔ם עַ֖ד הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃
וְהָיָה֙ כִּֽי־ יֹאמְר֣וּ אֵלֶ֔יךָ עַל־ מָ֖ה אַתָּ֣ה נֶאֱנָ֑ח וְאָמַרְתָּ֡ אֶל־ שְׁמוּעָ֣ה כִֽי־ בָאָ֡ה וְנָמֵ֣ס כָּל־ לֵב֩ וְרָפ֨וּ כָל־ יָדַ֜יִם וְכִהֲתָ֣ה כָל־ ר֗וּחַ וְכָל־ בִּרְכַּ֙יִם֙ תֵּלַ֣כְנָה מַּ֔יִם הִנֵּ֤ה בָאָה֙ וְנִֽהְיָ֔תָה נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃
Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.
And they shall be desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities shall be in the midst of the cities that are wasted.
The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.
And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.
