וְכָל־ דִּי־ לָא֩ לֶהֱוֵ֨א עָבֵ֜ד דָּתָ֣א דִֽי־ אֱלָהָ֗ךְ וְדָתָא֙ דִּ֣י מַלְכָּ֔א אָסְפַּ֕רְנָא דִּינָ֕ה לֶהֱוֵ֥א מִתְעֲבֵ֖ד מִנֵּ֑הּ הֵ֤ן לְמוֹת֙ הֵ֣ן לשרשו לִשְׁרֹשִׁ֔י הֵן־ לַעֲנָ֥שׁ נִכְסִ֖ין וְלֶאֱסוּרִֽין׃
וְהִנֵּ֣ה כָל־ הַנָּשִׁ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֤ר נִשְׁאֲרוּ֙ בְּבֵ֣ית מֶֽלֶךְ־ יְהוּדָ֔ה מוּצָא֕וֹת אֶל־ שָׂרֵ֖י מֶ֣לֶךְ בָּבֶ֑ל וְהֵ֣נָּה אֹמְר֗וֹת הִסִּית֜וּךָ וְיָכְל֤וּ לְךָ֙ אַנְשֵׁ֣י שְׁלֹמֶ֔ךָ הָטְבְּע֥וּ בַבֹּ֛ץ רַגְלֶ֖ךָ נָסֹ֥גוּ אָחֽוֹר׃
לֹא־ יֹאבֶ֣ה יְהוָה֮ סְלֹ֣חַֽ לוֹ֒ כִּ֣י אָ֠ז יֶעְשַׁ֨ן אַף־ יְהוָ֤ה וְקִנְאָתוֹ֙ בָּאִ֣ישׁ הַה֔וּא וְרָ֤בְצָה־ בּוֹ֙ כָּל־ הָ֣אָלָ֔ה הַכְּתוּבָ֖ה בַּסֵּ֣פֶר הַזֶּ֑ה וּמָחָ֤ה יְהוָה֙ אֶת־ שְׁמ֔וֹ מִתַּ֖חַת הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃
וַיִּשְׁמַ֨ע בֶּן הֲדַ֜ד אֶל־ הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ אָסָ֗א וַ֠יִּשְׁלַח אֶת־ שָׂרֵ֨י הַחֲיָלִ֤ים אֲשֶׁר־ לוֹ֙ אֶל־ עָרֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וַיַּכּוּ֙ אֶת־ עִיּ֣וֹן וְאֶת־ דָּ֔ן וְאֵ֖ת אָבֵ֣ל מָ֑יִם וְאֵ֥ת כָּֽל־ מִסְכְּנ֖וֹת עָרֵ֥י נַפְתָּלִֽי׃
וָֽאַעֲמִ֞יד מִֽתַּחְתִּיּ֧וֹת לַמָּק֛וֹם מֵאַחֲרֵ֥י לַחוֹמָ֖ה בצחחיים בַּצְּחִיחִ֑ים וָֽאַעֲמִ֤יד אֶת־ הָעָם֙ לְמִשְׁפָּח֔וֹת עִם־ חַרְבֹתֵיהֶ֛ם רָמְחֵיהֶ֖ם וְקַשְּׁתֹתֵיהֶֽם׃
כֹּ֣ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֡ה לֹא־ תַעֲלוּ֩ וְלֹא־ תִלָּ֨חֲמ֜וּ עִם־ אֲחֵיכֶ֗ם שׁ֚וּבוּ אִ֣ישׁ לְבֵית֔וֹ כִּ֧י מֵֽאִתִּ֛י נִהְיָ֖ה הַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֑ה וַֽיִּשְׁמְעוּ֙ אֶת־ דִּבְרֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה וַיָּשֻׁ֖בוּ מִלֶּ֥כֶת אֶל־ יָרָבְעָֽם׃
הֵ֣ן ׀ יִשָּׂא־ אִ֨ישׁ בְּשַׂר־ קֹ֜דֶשׁ בִּכְנַ֣ף בִּגְד֗וֹ וְנָגַ֣ע בִּ֠כְנָפוֹ אֶל־ הַלֶּ֨חֶם וְאֶל־ הַנָּזִ֜יד וְאֶל־ הַיַּ֧יִן וְאֶל־ שֶׁ֛מֶן וְאֶל־ כָּל־ מַאֲכָ֖ל הֲיִקְדָּ֑שׁ וַיַּעֲנ֧וּ הַכֹּהֲנִ֛ים וַיֹּאמְר֖וּ לֹֽא׃
And he said unto her, If they bind me fast with new ropes that never were occupied, then shall I be weak, and be as another man.
And at the season he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that he might receive from the husbandmen of the fruit of the vineyard.
For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

إِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَاجِدَ اللَّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَأَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ وَآتَى الزَّكَاةَ وَلَمْ يَخْشَ إِلَّا اللَّهَ فَعَسَى أُولَئِكَ أَنْ يَكُونُوا مِنَ الْمُهْتَدِينَ
