וְאִם־ הַחֲרֵשׁ֩ יַחֲרִ֨ישׁ לָ֥הּ אִישָׁהּ֮ מִיּ֣וֹם אֶל־ יוֹם֒ וְהֵקִים֙ אֶת־ כָּל־ נְדָרֶ֔יהָ א֥וֹ אֶת־ כָּל־ אֱסָרֶ֖יהָ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָלֶ֑יהָ הֵקִ֣ים אֹתָ֔ם כִּי־ הֶחֱרִ֥שׁ לָ֖הּ בְּי֥וֹם שָׁמְעֽוֹ׃
וַיַּ֣עַן וַיֹּ֗אמֶר אֶל־ הָעֹמְדִ֤ים לְפָנָיו֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר הָסִ֛ירוּ הַבְּגָדִ֥ים הַצֹּאִ֖ים מֵעָלָ֑יו וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלָ֗יו רְאֵ֨ה הֶעֱבַ֤רְתִּי מֵעָלֶ֙יךָ֙ עֲוֺנֶ֔ךָ וְהַלְבֵּ֥שׁ אֹתְךָ֖ מַחֲלָצֽוֹת׃
וְכָל־ הַנִּשְׁאָ֗ר מִֽכָּל־ הַמְּקֹמוֹת֮ אֲשֶׁ֣ר ה֣וּא גָֽר־ שָׁם֒ יְנַשְּׂא֙וּהוּ֙ אַנְשֵׁ֣י מְקֹמ֔וֹ בְּכֶ֥סֶף וּבְזָהָ֖ב וּבִרְכ֣וּשׁ וּבִבְהֵמָ֑ה עִם־ הַ֨נְּדָבָ֔ה לְבֵ֥ית הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר בִּירוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃
וּבָאוּ֮ וְרִנְּנ֣וּ בִמְרוֹם־ צִיּוֹן֒ וְנָהֲר֞וּ אֶל־ ט֣וּב יְהוָ֗ה עַל־ דָּגָן֙ וְעַל־ תִּירֹ֣שׁ וְעַל־ יִצְהָ֔ר וְעַל־ בְּנֵי־ צֹ֖אן וּבָקָ֑ר וְהָיְתָ֤ה נַפְשָׁם֙ כְּגַ֣ן רָוֶ֔ה וְלֹא־ יוֹסִ֥יפוּ לְדַאֲבָ֖ה עֽוֹד׃
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר דָּוִד֙ לַאֲחִימֶ֔לֶךְ וְאִ֛ין יֶשׁ־ פֹּ֥ה תַֽחַת־ יָדְךָ֖ חֲנִ֣ית אוֹ־ חָ֑רֶב כִּ֣י גַם־ חַרְבִּ֤י וְגַם־ כֵּלַי֙ לֹֽא־ לָקַ֣חְתִּי בְיָדִ֔י כִּֽי־ הָיָ֥ה דְבַר־ הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ נָחֽוּץ׃
וְאַתָּ֣ה בֶן־ אָדָ֗ם הִנָּבֵ֤א וְאָֽמַרְתָּ֙ כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהֹוִ֔ה אֶל־ בְּנֵ֥י עַמּ֖וֹן וְאֶל־ חֶרְפָּתָ֑ם וְאָמַרְתָּ֗ חֶ֣רֶב חֶ֤רֶב פְּתוּחָה֙ לְטֶ֣בַח מְרוּטָ֔ה לְהָכִ֖יל לְמַ֥עַן בָּרָֽק׃
וַיּוֹצֵ֣א מִשָּׁ֗ם אֶת־ כָּל־ אוֹצְרוֹת֙ בֵּ֣ית יְהוָ֔ה וְאֽוֹצְר֖וֹת בֵּ֣ית הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ וַיְקַצֵּ֞ץ אֶת־ כָּל־ כְּלֵ֣י הַזָּהָ֗ב אֲשֶׁ֨ר עָשָׂ֜ה שְׁלֹמֹ֤ה מֶֽלֶךְ־ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ בְּהֵיכַ֣ל יְהוָ֔ה כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֖ר דִּבֶּ֥ר יְהוָֽה׃
וְאַתָּ֡ה הַפְקֵ֣ד אֶת־ הַלְוִיִּם֩ עַל־ מִשְׁכַּ֨ן הָעֵדֻ֜ת וְעַ֣ל כָּל־ כֵּלָיו֮ וְעַ֣ל כָּל־ אֲשֶׁר־ לוֹ֒ הֵ֜מָּה יִשְׂא֤וּ אֶת־ הַמִּשְׁכָּן֙ וְאֶת־ כָּל־ כֵּלָ֔יו וְהֵ֖ם יְשָׁרְתֻ֑הוּ וְסָבִ֥יב לַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן יַחֲנֽוּ׃
אַף־ אֲנִ֞י אֽ͏ֶעֱשֶׂה־ זֹּ֣את לָכֶ֗ם וְהִפְקַדְתִּ֨י עֲלֵיכֶ֤ם בֶּֽהָלָה֙ אֶת־ הַשַּׁחֶ֣פֶת וְאֶת־ הַקַּדַּ֔חַת מְכַלּ֥וֹת עֵינַ֖יִם וּמְדִיבֹ֣ת נָ֑פֶשׁ וּזְרַעְתֶּ֤ם לָרִיק֙ זַרְעֲכֶ֔ם וַאֲכָלֻ֖הוּ אֹיְבֵיכֶֽם׃
כִּֽי־ יִמָּצֵ֤א בְקִרְבְּךָ֙ בְּאַחַ֣ד שְׁעָרֶ֔יךָ אֲשֶׁר־ יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ נֹתֵ֣ן לָ֑ךְ אִ֣ישׁ אוֹ־ אִשָּׁ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר יַעֲשֶׂ֧ה אֶת־ הָרַ֛ע בְּעֵינֵ֥י יְהוָֽה־ אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ לַעֲבֹ֥ר בְּרִיתֽוֹ׃
כִּֽי־ כֹ֣ה ׀ אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֗ה אַל־ תָּבוֹא֙ בֵּ֣ית מַרְזֵ֔חַ וְאַל־ תֵּלֵ֣ךְ לִסְפּ֔וֹד וְאַל־ תָּנֹ֖ד לָהֶ֑ם כִּֽי־ אָסַ֨פְתִּי אֶת־ שְׁלוֹמִ֜י מֵאֵ֨ת הָעָ֤ם הַזֶּה֙ נְאֻם־ יְהוָ֔ה אֶת־ הַחֶ֖סֶד וְאֶת־ הָֽרַחֲמִֽים׃
וַיַּחְגֹּ֣ר דָּוִ֣ד אֶת־ חַ֠רְבּוֹ מֵעַ֨ל לְמַדָּ֜יו וַיֹּ֣אֶל לָלֶכֶת֮ כִּ֣י לֹֽא־ נִסָּה֒ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר דָּוִ֜ד אֶל־ שָׁא֗וּל לֹ֥א אוּכַ֛ל לָלֶ֥כֶת בָּאֵ֖לֶּה כִּ֣י לֹ֣א נִסִּ֑יתִי וַיְסִרֵ֥ם דָּוִ֖ד מֵעָלָֽיו׃
וְעַתָּ֕ה אֱמֶ֖ת אַגִּ֣יד לָ֑ךְ הִנֵּה־ עוֹד֩ שְׁלֹשָׁ֨ה מְלָכִ֜ים עֹמְדִ֣ים לְפָרַ֗ס וְהָֽרְבִיעִי֙ יַעֲשִׁ֤יר עֹֽשֶׁר־ גָּדוֹל֙ מִכֹּ֔ל וּכְחֶזְקָת֣וֹ בְעָשְׁר֔וֹ יָעִ֣יר הַכֹּ֔ל אֵ֖ת מַלְכ֥וּת יָוָֽן׃
And it came to pass at that time, when Eli was laid down in his place, and his eyes began to wax dim, that he could not see;
And the Kohathites set forward, bearing the sanctuary: and the other did set up the tabernacle against they came.

καὶ τί τὸ ὑπερβάλλον μέγεθος τῆς δυνάμεως αὐτοῦ εἰς ἡμᾶς τοὺς πιστεύοντας κατὰ τὴν ἐνέργειαν τοῦ κράτους τῆς ἰσχύος αὐτοῦ
ἐπεὶ οὖν ἀπολείπεται τινὰς εἰσελθεῖν εἰς αὐτήν, καὶ οἱ πρότερον εὐαγγελισθέντες οὐκ εἰσῆλθον διʼ ἀπείθειαν,
καὶ ἀρχαίου κόσμου οὐκ ἐφείσατο, ἀλλὰ ὄγδοον Νῶε δικαιοσύνης κήρυκα ἐφύλαξεν, κατακλυσμὸν κόσμῳ ἀσεβῶν ἐπάξας,
