וַיֹּ֡אמֶר עֶבֶד־ מֶ֨לֶךְ הַכּוּשִׁ֜י אֶֽל־ יִרְמְיָ֗הוּ שִׂ֣ים נָ֠א בְּלוֹאֵ֨י הַסְּחָב֤וֹת וְהַמְּלָחִים֙ תַּ֚חַת אַצִּל֣וֹת יָדֶ֔יךָ מִתַּ֖חַת לַחֲבָלִ֑ים וַיַּ֥עַשׂ יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ כֵּֽן׃
וַיִּכְתֹּ֣ב מָרְדֳּכַ֔י אֶת־ הַדְּבָרִ֖ים הָאֵ֑לֶּה וַיִּשְׁלַ֨ח סְפָרִ֜ים אֶל־ כָּל־ הַיְּהוּדִ֗ים אֲשֶׁר֙ בְּכָל־ מְדִינוֹת֙ הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ אֲחַשְׁוֵר֔וֹשׁ הַקְּרוֹבִ֖ים וְהָרְחוֹקִֽים׃
וְֽהָ֨יְתָ֜ה חֶרְפָּ֤ה וּגְדוּפָה֙ מוּסָ֣ר וּמְשַׁמָּ֔ה לַגּוֹיִ֖ם אֲשֶׁ֣ר סְבִיבוֹתָ֑יִךְ בַּעֲשׂ֩וֹתִי֩ בָ֨ךְ שְׁפָטִ֜ים בְּאַ֤ף וּבְחֵמָה֙ וּבְתֹכְח֣וֹת חֵמָ֔ה אֲנִ֥י יְהוָ֖ה דִּבַּֽרְתִּי׃
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֶל־ מֹשֶׁה נְטֵ֤ה אֶת־ יָֽדְךָ֙ עַל־ הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם וִיהִ֥י בָרָ֖ד בְּכָל־ אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם עַל־ הָאָדָ֣ם וְעַל־ הַבְּהֵמָ֗ה וְעַ֛ל כָּל־ עֵ֥שֶׂב הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה בְּאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃
בִּשְׁנַ֨ת הַתְּשִׁיעִ֜ית לְהוֹשֵׁ֗עַ לָכַ֤ד מֶֽלֶךְ־ אַשּׁוּר֙ אֶת־ שֹׁ֣מְר֔וֹן וַיֶּ֥גֶל אֶת־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל אַשּׁ֑וּרָה וַיֹּ֨שֶׁב אֹתָ֜ם בַּחְלַ֧ח וּבְחָב֛וֹר נְהַ֥ר גּוֹזָ֖ן וְעָרֵ֥י מָדָֽי׃
וּמִמַּטֵּ֣ה בִנְיָמִ֗ן אֶת־ גֶּ֤בַע וְאֶת־ מִגְרָשֶׁ֙יהָ֙ וְאֶת־ עָלֶ֣מֶת וְאֶת־ מִגְרָשֶׁ֔יהָ וְאֶת־ עֲנָת֖וֹת וְאֶת־ מִגְרָשֶׁ֑יהָ כָּל־ עָרֵיהֶ֛ם שְׁלֹשׁ־ עֶשְׂרֵ֥ה עִ֖יר בְּמִשְׁפְּחוֹתֵיהֶֽם׃

وَإِنْ أَرَدْتُمُ اسْتِبْدَالَ زَوْجٍ مَكَانَ زَوْجٍ وَآتَيْتُمْ إِحْدَاهُنَّ قِنْطَارًا فَلَا تَأْخُذُوا مِنْهُ شَيْئًا أَتَأْخُذُونَهُ بُهْتَانًا وَإِثْمًا مُبِينًا
وَاتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِهِ آلِهَةً لَا يَخْلُقُونَ شَيْئًا وَهُمْ يُخْلَقُونَ وَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ لِأَنْفُسِهِمْ ضَرًّا وَلَا نَفْعًا وَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ مَوْتًا وَلَا حَيَاةً وَلَا نُشُورًا
