וַתֵּ֗לֶךְ וַתָּב֛וֹא אֶל־ אִ֥ישׁ הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים אֶל־ הַ֣ר הַכַּרְמֶ֑ל וַ֠יְהִי כִּרְא֨וֹת אִישׁ־ הָאֱלֹהִ֤ים אֹתָהּ֙ מִנֶּ֔גֶד וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ אֶל־ גֵּיחֲזִ֣י נַעֲר֔וֹ הִנֵּ֖ה הַשׁוּנַּמִּ֥ית הַלָּֽז׃
וְיָרְד֣וּ כָל־ עֲבָדֶיךָ֩ אֵ֨לֶּה אֵלַ֜י וְהִשְׁתַּֽחֲוּוּ־ לִ֣י לֵאמֹ֗ר צֵ֤א אַתָּה֙ וְכָל־ הָעָ֣ם אֲשֶׁר־ בְּרַגְלֶ֔יךָ וְאַחֲרֵי־ כֵ֖ן אֵצֵ֑א וַיֵּצֵ֥א מֵֽעִם־ פַּרְעֹ֖ה בָּחֳרִי־ אָֽף׃
וּפֶן־ יֵרַ֤ךְ לְבַבְכֶם֙ וְתִֽירְא֔וּ בַּשְּׁמוּעָ֖ה הַנִּשְׁמַ֣עַת בָּאָ֑רֶץ וּבָ֧א בַשָּׁנָ֣ה הַשְּׁמוּעָ֗ה וְאַחֲרָ֤יו בַּשָּׁנָה֙ הַשְּׁמוּעָ֔ה וְחָמָ֣ס בָּאָ֔רֶץ וּמֹשֵׁ֖ל עַל־ מֹשֵֽׁל׃
וִֽידַעְתֶּם֙ כִּֽי־ אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֔ה בַּעֲשׂוֹתִ֥י אִתְּכֶ֖ם לְמַ֣עַן שְׁמִ֑י לֹא֩ כְדַרְכֵיכֶ֨ם הָרָעִ֜ים וְכַעֲלִילֽוֹתֵיכֶ֤ם הַנִּשְׁחָתוֹת֙ בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃
וָאָב֨וֹא אֶל־ הַגּוֹלָ֜ה תֵּ֣ל אָ֠בִיב הַיֹּשְׁבִ֤ים אֶֽל־ נְהַר־ כְּבָר֙ ואשר וָֽאֵשֵׁ֔ב הֵ֖מָּה יוֹשְׁבִ֣ים שָׁ֑ם וָאֵשֵׁ֥ב שָׁ֛ם שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִ֖ים מַשְׁמִ֥ים בְּתוֹכָֽם׃
וַיָּ֨נַח יְהוָ֤ה לָהֶם֙ מִסָּבִ֔יב כְּכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־ נִשְׁבַּ֖ע לַאֲבוֹתָ֑ם וְלֹא־ עָ֨מַד אִ֤ישׁ בִּפְנֵיהֶם֙ מִכָּל־ אֹ֣יְבֵיהֶ֔ם אֵ֚ת כָּל־ אֹ֣יְבֵיהֶ֔ם נָתַ֥ן יְהוָ֖ה בְּיָדָֽם׃
וַ֠יִּקְרָא בְּסֵ֨פֶר תּוֹרַ֤ת הָאֱלֹהִים֙ י֣וֹם ׀ בְּי֔וֹם מִן־ הַיּוֹם֙ הָֽרִאשׁ֔וֹן עַ֖ד הַיּ֣וֹם הָאַחֲר֑וֹן וַיַּֽעֲשׂוּ־ חָג֙ שִׁבְעַ֣ת יָמִ֔ים וּבַיּ֧וֹם הַשְּׁמִינִ֛י עֲצֶ֖רֶת כַּמִּשְׁפָּֽט׃
Then they told David, saying, Behold, the Philistines fight against Keilah, and they rob the threshingfloors.
And all thy estimations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.
And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.
The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God.
And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense their way upon their head.
Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers?
And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it.

किं तद्ब्रह्म किमध्यात्मं किं कर्म पुरुषोत्तम । अधिभूतं च किं प्रोक्तमधिदैवं किमुच्यते
रजो रागात्मकं विद्धि तृष्णासङ्गसमुद्भवम् । तन्निबध्नाति कौन्तेय कर्मसङ्गेन देहिनम्
पुरोधसां च मुख्यं मां विद्धि पार्थ बृहस्पतिम् । सेनानीनामहं स्कन्दः सरसामस्मि सागरः
Ὁμοίως μέντοι καὶ οὗτοι ἐνυπνιαζόμενοι σάρκα μὲν μιαίνουσιν, κυριότητα δὲ ἀθετοῦσιν, δόξας δὲ βλασφημοῦσιν.
ταῦτα εἶπεν, καὶ μετὰ τοῦτο λέγει αὐτοῖς· Λάζαρος ὁ φίλος ἡμῶν κεκοίμηται, ἀλλὰ πορεύομαι ἵνα ἐξυπνίσω αὐτόν.
Ἐπειδήπερ πολλοὶ ἐπεχείρησαν ἀνατάξασθαι διήγησιν περὶ τῶν πεπληροφορημένων ἐν ἡμῖν πραγμάτων,
