כָּנַ֤סְתִּי לִי֙ גַּם־ כֶּ֣סֶף וְזָהָ֔ב וּסְגֻלַּ֥ת מְלָכִ֖ים וְהַמְּדִינ֑וֹת עָשִׂ֨יתִי לִ֜י שָׁרִ֣ים וְשָׁר֗וֹת וְתַעֲנוּגֹ֛ת בְּנֵ֥י הָאָדָ֖ם שִׁדָּ֥ה וְשִׁדּֽוֹת׃
וְסָמַ֤ךְ אֶת־ יָדוֹ֙ עַל־ רֹ֣אשׁ קָרְבָּנ֔וֹ וְשָׁחַ֣ט אֹת֔וֹ לִפְנֵ֖י אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד וְ֠זָרְקוּ בְּנֵ֨י אַהֲרֹ֧ן אֶת־ דָּמ֛וֹ עַל־ הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ סָבִֽיב׃
כִּ֣י הִ֤וא כסותה כְסוּתוֹ֙ לְבַדָּ֔הּ הִ֥וא שִׂמְלָת֖וֹ לְעֹר֑וֹ בַּמֶּ֣ה יִשְׁכָּ֔ב וְהָיָה֙ כִּֽי־ יִצְעַ֣ק אֵלַ֔י וְשָׁמַעְתִּ֖י כִּֽי־ חַנּ֥וּן אָֽנִי׃
וַיָּ֨קָם פַּרְעֹ֜ה לַ֗יְלָה ה֤וּא וְכָל־ עֲבָדָיו֙ וְכָל־ מִצְרַ֔יִם וַתְּהִ֛י צְעָקָ֥ה גְדֹלָ֖ה בְּמִצְרָ֑יִם כִּֽי־ אֵ֣ין בַּ֔יִת אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֵֽין־ שָׁ֖ם מֵֽת׃
וְהַחֹנִים֙ קֵ֣דְמָה מִזְרָ֔חָה דֶּ֛גֶל מַחֲנֵ֥ה יְהוּדָ֖ה לְצִבְאֹתָ֑ם וְנָשִׂיא֙ לִבְנֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֔ה נַחְשׁ֖וֹן בֶּן־ עַמִּינָדָֽב׃
וּבְבֹ֨א מֹשֶׁ֜ה לִפְנֵ֤י יְהוָה֙ לְדַבֵּ֣ר אִתּ֔וֹ יָסִ֥יר אֶת־ הַמַּסְוֶ֖ה עַד־ צֵאת֑וֹ וְיָצָ֗א וְדִבֶּר֙ אֶל־ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֵ֖ת אֲשֶׁ֥ר יְצֻוֶּֽה׃
וַיִּקְרָ֣א יְהוֹשֻׁ֗עַ אֶל־ שְׁנֵ֤ים הֶֽעָשָׂר֙ אִ֔ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֵכִ֖ין מִבְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל אִישׁ־ אֶחָ֥ד אִישׁ־ אֶחָ֖ד מִשָּֽׁבֶט׃
לְעֶגְלוֹת֙ בֵּ֣ית אָ֔וֶן יָג֖וּרוּ שְׁכַ֣ן שֹֽׁמְר֑וֹן כִּי־ אָבַ֨ל עָלָ֜יו עַמּ֗וֹ וּכְמָרָיו֙ עָלָ֣יו יָגִ֔ילוּ עַל־ כְּבוֹד֖וֹ כִּֽי־ גָלָ֥ה מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃
וְיָדַעְתָּ֣ הַיּ֗וֹם וַהֲשֵׁבֹתָ֮ אֶל־ לְבָבֶךָ֒ כִּ֤י יְהוָה֙ ה֣וּא הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים בַּשָּׁמַ֣יִם מִמַּ֔עַל וְעַל־ הָאָ֖רֶץ מִתָּ֑חַת אֵ֖ין עֽוֹד׃
כִּֽי־ יִהְיֶ֨ה לָהֶ֤ם דָּבָר֙ בָּ֣א אֵלַ֔י וְשָׁ֣פַטְתִּ֔י בֵּ֥ין אִ֖ישׁ וּבֵ֣ין רֵעֵ֑הוּ וְהוֹדַעְתִּ֛י אֶת־ חֻקֵּ֥י הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים וְאֶת־ תּוֹרֹתָֽיו׃
וּבַרְזִלַּי֙ זָקֵ֣ן מְאֹ֔ד בֶּן־ שְׁמֹנִ֖ים שָׁנָ֑ה וְהֽוּא־ כִלְכַּ֤ל אֶת־ הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ בְּשִׁיבָת֣וֹ בְמַחֲנַ֔יִם כִּֽי־ אִ֛ישׁ גָּד֥וֹל ה֖וּא מְאֹֽד׃
הֵ֗מָּה בָּ֚אוּ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ צ֔וּף וְשָׁא֥וּל אָמַ֛ר לְנַעֲר֥וֹ אֲשֶׁר־ עִמּ֖וֹ לְכָ֣ה וְנָשׁ֑וּבָה פֶּן־ יֶחְדַּ֥ל אָבִ֛י מִן־ הָאֲתֹנ֖וֹת וְדָ֥אַג לָֽנוּ׃
הַמְעַ֣ט מִכֶּ֗ם הַמִּרְעֶ֤ה הַטּוֹב֙ תִּרְע֔וּ וְיֶ֙תֶר֙ מִרְעֵיכֶ֔ם תִּרְמְס֖וּ בְּרַגְלֵיכֶ֑ם וּמִשְׁקַע־ מַ֣יִם תִּשְׁתּ֔וּ וְאֵת֙ הַנּ֣וֹתָרִ֔ים בְּרַגְלֵיכֶ֖ם תִּרְפֹּשֽׂוּן׃
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אַחְאָב֙ אֶל־ אֵ֣לִיָּ֔הוּ הַֽמְצָאתַ֖נִי אֹיְבִ֑י וַיֹּ֣אמֶר מָצָ֔אתִי יַ֚עַן הִתְמַכֶּרְךָ֔ לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת הָרַ֖ע בְּעֵינֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃
אֵ֤לֶּה פְקוּדֵי֙ מִשְׁפְּחֹ֣ת הַקְּהָתִ֔י כָּל־ הָעֹבֵ֖ד בְּאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד אֲשֶׁ֨ר פָּקַ֤ד מֹשֶׁה֙ וְאַהֲרֹ֔ן עַל־ פִּ֥י יְהוָ֖ה בְּיַד־ מֹשֶֽׁה׃
וְתָאֵ֨י הַשַּׁ֜עַר דֶּ֣רֶךְ הַקָּדִ֗ים שְׁלֹשָׁ֤ה מִפֹּה֙ וּשְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה מִפֹּ֔ה מִדָּ֥ה אַחַ֖ת לִשְׁלָשְׁתָּ֑ם וּמִדָּ֥ה אַחַ֛ת לָאֵילִ֖ם מִפֹּ֥ה וּמִפּֽוֹ׃
וְתָאַ֣ר מִצָּפ֗וֹן וְיָצָא֙ עֵ֣ין שֶׁ֔מֶשׁ וְיָצָא֙ אֶל־ גְּלִיל֔וֹת אֲשֶׁר־ נֹ֖כַח מַעֲלֵ֣ה אֲדֻמִּ֑ים וְיָרַ֕ד אֶ֥בֶן בֹּ֖הַן בֶּן־ רְאוּבֵֽן׃
אִם־ יִסָּתֵ֨ר אִ֧ישׁ בַּמִּסְתָּרִ֛ים וַאֲנִ֥י לֹֽא־ אֶרְאֶ֖נּוּ נְאֻם־ יְהוָ֑ה הֲל֨וֹא אֶת־ הַשָּׁמַ֧יִם וְאֶת־ הָאָ֛רֶץ אֲנִ֥י מָלֵ֖א נְאֻם־ יְהוָֽה׃
וְאָהֳלִֽיבָמָה֙ יָֽלְדָ֔ה אֶת־ יעיש יְע֥וּשׁ וְאֶת־ יַעְלָ֖ם וְאֶת־ קֹ֑רַח אֵ֚לֶּה בְּנֵ֣י עֵשָׂ֔ו אֲשֶׁ֥ר יֻלְּדוּ־ ל֖וֹ בְּאֶ֥רֶץ כְּנָֽעַן׃
כֹּֽה־ אָמַ֨ר יְהוָ֧ה מֶֽלֶךְ־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל וְגֹאֲל֖וֹ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֑וֹת אֲנִ֤י רִאשׁוֹן֙ וַאֲנִ֣י אַחֲר֔וֹן וּמִבַּלְעָדַ֖י אֵ֥ין אֱלֹהִֽים׃
Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me: I will render to the man according to his work.
But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
And he said unto them, Come again unto me after three days. And the people departed.
And when the messengers turned back unto him, he said unto them, Why are ye now turned back?
And all the kings of Zimri, and all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of the Medes,
Terrors are turned upon me: they pursue my soul as the wind: and my welfare passeth away as a cloud.
Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:
I taught Ephraim also to go, taking them by their arms; but they knew not that I healed them.
The great temptations which thine eyes have seen, the signs, and those great miracles:
For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
Consider the work of God: for who can make that straight, which he hath made crooked?
Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:
Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.
So he let him go: then she said, A bloody husband thou art, because of the circumcision.
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
Kirjathbaal, which is Kirjathjearim, and Rabbah; two cities with their villages:
Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.

ajaamim anyaH shnathayantam aatirad dabhrebhir anyaH pra vRNoti bhuuyasaH
sadhriim aa yanti pari bibhratiiH payo vishvapsnyaaya pra bharanta bhojanam
yaabhiH shaariir aajataM syuumarashmaye taabhir uu Su uutibhir ashvinaa gatam
Εὐκοπώτερον δέ ἐστιν τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ τὴν γῆν παρελθεῖν ἢ τοῦ νόμου μίαν κεραίαν πεσεῖν.
Ἐλεύσομαι δὲ πρὸς ὑμᾶς ὅταν Μακεδονίαν διέλθω, Μακεδονίαν γὰρ διέρχομαι,
εἶπαν οὖν αὐτῷ· Τίς εἶ; ἵνα ἀπόκρισιν δῶμεν τοῖς πέμψασιν ἡμᾶς· τί λέγεις περὶ σεαυτοῦ;
κρεῖττον γὰρ ἀγαθοποιοῦντας, εἰ θέλοι τὸ θέλημα τοῦ θεοῦ, πάσχειν ἢ κακοποιοῦντας.
قَالَتْ إِنَّ الْمُلُوكَ إِذَا دَخَلُوا قَرْيَةً أَفْسَدُوهَا وَجَعَلُوا أَعِزَّةَ أَهْلِهَا أَذِلَّةً وَكَذَلِكَ يَفْعَلُونَ
