וַיָּבֹאוּ֮ אֶל־ מַחֲנֵ֣ה יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ וַיָּקֻ֤מוּ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ וַיַּכּ֣וּ אֶת־ מוֹאָ֔ב וַיָּנֻ֖סוּ מִפְּנֵיהֶ֑ם ויבו־ וַיַּכּוּ־ בָ֔הּ וְהַכּ֖וֹת אֶת־ מוֹאָֽב׃
המליך אות ג' וקשר לו כתר וצרפן זה עם זה, וצר בו צדק בעולם, ואחד בשבת בשנה, ועין ימין בנפש:
I the LORD do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day.
Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.
This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
And when the child was grown, it fell on a day, that he went out to his father to the reapers.

abhishriiNan payaH payasaabhi gonaam indrasya tvaM tava vayaM sakhaayaH
divyaM suparNaM vaayasam bRhantam apaaM garbhaM darshatam oSadhiinaam
na kSoNiibhyaam paribhve\ ta indriyaM na samudraiH parvatair indra te rathaH
yaM devaasash cakrire piitaye madaM svaadiSThaM drapsam aruNam mayobhuvam
yad dha tyam maayinam mRgaM tam u tvam maayayaavadhiir arcann anu svaraajyam
ἐκεῖ οὖν διὰ τὴν παρασκευὴν τῶν Ἰουδαίων, ὅτι ἐγγὺς ἦν τὸ μνημεῖον, ἔθηκαν τὸν Ἰησοῦν.
