וְאוּלָ֗ם אָנֹכִ֞י מָלֵ֤אתִי כֹ֙חַ֙ אֶת־ ר֣וּחַ יְהוָ֔ה וּמִשְׁפָּ֖ט וּגְבוּרָ֑ה לְהַגִּ֤יד לְיַֽעֲקֹב֙ פִּשְׁע֔וֹ וּלְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל חַטָּאתֽוֹ׃
גֹּאֲלָ֣ם ׀ חָזָ֗ק יְהוָ֤ה צְבָאוֹת֙ שְׁמ֔וֹ רִ֥יב יָרִ֖יב אֶת־ רִיבָ֑ם לְמַ֙עַן֙ הִרְגִּ֣יעַ אֶת־ הָאָ֔רֶץ וְהִרְגִּ֖יז לְיֹשְׁבֵ֥י בָבֶֽל׃
חָז֥וּת קָשָׁ֖ה הֻגַּד־ לִ֑י הַבּוֹגֵ֤ד ׀ בּוֹגֵד֙ וְהַשּׁוֹדֵ֣ד ׀ שׁוֹדֵ֔ד עֲלִ֤י עֵילָם֙ צוּרִ֣י מָדַ֔י כָּל־ אַנְחָתָ֖ה הִשְׁבַּֽתִּי׃
וַיֹּ֗אמֶר בְּיַלֶּדְכֶן֙ אֶת־ הָֽעִבְרִיּ֔וֹת וּרְאִיתֶ֖ן עַל־ הָאָבְנָ֑יִם אִם־ בֵּ֥ן הוּא֙ וַהֲמִתֶּ֣ן אֹת֔וֹ וְאִם־ בַּ֥ת הִ֖יא וָחָֽיָה׃
וְֽנִבְהָ֓לוּ ׀ צִירִ֤ים וַֽחֲבָלִים֙ יֹֽאחֵז֔וּן כַּיּוֹלֵדָ֖ה יְחִיל֑וּן אִ֤ישׁ אֶל־ רֵעֵ֙הוּ֙ יִתְמָ֔הוּ פְּנֵ֥י לְהָבִ֖ים פְּנֵיהֶֽם׃
בֶּן־ שְׁתֵּ֨ים עֶשְׂרֵ֤ה שָׁנָה֙ מְנַשֶּׁ֣ה בְמָלְכ֔וֹ וַחֲמִשִּׁ֤ים וְחָמֵשׁ֙ שָׁנָ֔ה מָלַ֖ךְ בִּירוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם וְשֵׁ֥ם אִמּ֖וֹ חֶפְצִי־ בָֽהּ׃
וְנָסַ֧ע אֹֽהֶל־ מוֹעֵ֛ד מַחֲנֵ֥ה הַלְוִיִּ֖ם בְּת֣וֹךְ הַֽמַּחֲנֹ֑ת כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר יַחֲנוּ֙ כֵּ֣ן יִסָּ֔עוּ אִ֥ישׁ עַל־ יָד֖וֹ לְדִגְלֵיהֶֽם׃
ואילו וְאֵילָ֗יו לֶֽחָצֵר֙ הַחִ֣יצוֹנָ֔ה וְתִמֹרִ֥ים אֶל־ אילו אֵילָ֖יו מִפּ֣וֹ וּמִפּ֑וֹ וּשְׁמֹנֶ֥ה מַעֲל֖וֹת מעלו מַעֲלָֽיו׃

yatraa naraH samayante kRtadhvajo yasminn aajaa bhavati kiM cana priyam
taM tvaa sushipra dampate stomair vardhanty atrayo giirbhiH shumbhanty atrayaH
dyaur me pitaa janitaa naabhir atra bandhur me maataa pRthivii mahiiyam
varSiSThaM ratnam akRta svadhaabhir aad id dyaavaapRthivii pary apashyat
