וַיָּבֹ֤א אֱלִישָׁע֙ דַּמֶּ֔שֶׂק וּבֶן־ הֲדַ֥ד מֶֽלֶךְ־ אֲרָ֖ם חֹלֶ֑ה וַיֻּגַּד־ ל֣וֹ לֵאמֹ֔ר בָּ֛א אִ֥ישׁ הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים עַד־ הֵֽנָּה׃
Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.
But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:
And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.
And he said unto him, Thou knowest how I have served thee, and how thy cattle was with me.
My heart was hot within me, while I was musing the fire burned: then spake I with my tongue,
For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:
Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!
Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers:
A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish.
Cursed be he that lieth with his mother in law. And all the people shall say, Amen.
And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.
The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.
And they knew not that Joseph understood them; for he spake unto them by an interpreter.
The LORD shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah.
His eyes are as the eyes of doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk, and fitly set.

supeshasaM vaajam aa bharaa naH praatar makSuu dhiyaavasur jagamyaat
anaarambhaNe tad aviirayethaam anaasthaane agrabhaNe samudre
yuvor hi sakhyam uta vaa yad aapyam maarDiikam indraavaruNaa ni yachatam
samudrajyeSThaaH salilasya madhyaat punaanaa yanty anivishamaanaaH
yo rohitau vaajinau vaajiniivaan tribhiH shataiH sacamaanaav adiSTa
atividdhaa vithureNaa cid astraa triH sapta saanu saMhitaa giriiNaam
paDbhir gRdhyantam medhayuM na shuuraM rathaturaM vaatam iva dhrajantam
indraasomaa pari vaam bhuutu vishvata iyam matiH kakSyaashveva vaajinaa
te hi prajaayaa abharanta vi shravo bRhaspatir vRSabhaH somajaamayaH
avaasRjo nivRtaaH sartavaa apaH satraa vishvaM dadhiSe kevalaM sahaH
shaakmanaa shaako aruNaH suparNa aa yo mahaH shuuraH sanaad aniiLaH
eSa me devaH savitaa cachanda yaH samaanaM na praminaati dhaama
shyaavaashvasya sunvatas tathaa shRNu yathaashRNor atreH karmaaNi kRNvataH
pavitrebhiH pavamaano nRcakSaa raajaa devaanaam uta martyaanaam
na ghaa sa maam apa joSaM jabhaaraabhiim aasa tvakSasaa viirye\Na
tenaasmad vishvaam aniraam anaahutim apaamiivaam apa duSvapnyaM suva
mahi jyotiH pitRbhir dattam aagaad uruH panthaa dakSiNaayaa adarshi
taaM dhenum indraavaruNaa yuvaM no vishvaahaa dhattam anapasphurantiim
