וַיִּקַּח֩ יוֹחָנָ֨ן בֶּן־ קָרֵ֜חַ וְכָל־ שָׂרֵ֧י הַחֲיָלִ֣ים אֲשֶׁר־ אִתּ֗וֹ אֵ֣ת כָּל־ שְׁאֵרִ֤ית הָעָם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הֵ֠שִׁיב מֵאֵ֨ת יִשְׁמָעֵ֤אל בֶּן־ נְתַנְיָה֙ מִן־ הַמִּצְפָּ֔ה אַחַ֣ר הִכָּ֔ה אֶת־ גְּדַלְיָ֖ה בֶּן־ אֲחִיקָ֑ם גְּבָרִ֞ים אַנְשֵׁ֣י הַמִּלְחָמָ֗ה וְנָשִׁ֤ים וְטַף֙ וְסָ֣רִסִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֵשִׁ֖יב מִגִּבְעֽוֹן׃
And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.
And Jehoshaphat reigned over Judah: he was thirty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi.
