וְהַמֶּ֣לֶךְ דָּוִ֗ד שָׁ֠לַח אֶל־ צָד֨וֹק וְאֶל־ אֶבְיָתָ֥ר הַכֹּהֲנִים֮ לֵאמֹר֒ דַּבְּר֞וּ אֶל־ זִקְנֵ֤י יְהוּדָה֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר לָ֤מָּה תִֽהְיוּ֙ אַֽחֲרֹנִ֔ים לְהָשִׁ֥יב אֶת־ הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ אֶל־ בֵּית֑וֹ וּדְבַר֙ כָּל־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בָּ֥א אֶל־ הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ אֶל־ בֵּיתֽוֹ׃
אַ֣חַר זֶ֗ה שָׁ֠לַח סַנְחֵרִ֨יב מֶֽלֶךְ־ אַשּׁ֤וּר עֲבָדָיו֙ יְר֣וּשָׁלַ֔יְמָה וְהוּא֙ עַל־ לָכִ֔ישׁ וְכָל־ מֶמְשַׁלְתּ֖וֹ עִמּ֑וֹ עַל־ יְחִזְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ יְהוּדָ֔ה וְעַל־ כָּל־ יְהוּדָ֛ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר בִּירוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם לֵאמֹֽר׃
I will also make it a possession for the bittern, and pools of water: and I will sweep it with the besom of destruction, saith the LORD of hosts.
