אִמְרוּ֙ לְנִמְהֲרֵי־ לֵ֔ב חִזְק֖וּ אַל־ תִּירָ֑אוּ הִנֵּ֤ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶם֙ נָקָ֣ם יָב֔וֹא גְּמ֣וּל אֱלֹהִ֔ים ה֥וּא יָב֖וֹא וְיֹשַׁעֲכֶֽם׃
וַיָּבֹ֤א יְהוָה֙ וַיִּתְיַצַּ֔ב וַיִּקְרָ֥א כְפַֽעַם־ בְּפַ֖עַם שְׁמוּאֵ֣ל ׀ שְׁמוּאֵ֑ל וַיֹּ֤אמֶר שְׁמוּאֵל֙ דַּבֵּ֔ר כִּ֥י שֹׁמֵ֖עַ עַבְדֶּֽךָ׃
וְלַכֹּהֲנִים֙ הַלְוִיִּ֔ם לֹֽא־ יִכָּרֵ֥ת אִ֖ישׁ מִלְּפָנָ֑י מַעֲלֶ֨ה עוֹלָ֜ה וּמַקְטִ֥יר מִנְחָ֛ה וְעֹ֥שֶׂה זֶּ֖בַח כָּל־ הַיָּמִֽים׃
אִם־ יִרְאֶ֥ה אִישׁ֙ בָּאֲנָשִׁ֣ים הָאֵ֔לֶּה הַדּ֥וֹר הָרָ֖ע הַזֶּ֑ה אֵ֚ת הָאָ֣רֶץ הַטּוֹבָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר נִשְׁבַּ֔עְתִּי לָתֵ֖ת לַאֲבֹתֵיכֶֽם׃
וְכָלֵ֣ב בֶּן־ חֶצְר֗וֹן הוֹלִ֛יד אֶת־ עֲזוּבָ֥ה אִשָּׁ֖ה וְאֶת־ יְרִיע֑וֹת וְאֵ֣לֶּה בָנֶ֔יהָ יֵ֥שֶׁר וְשׁוֹבָ֖ב וְאַרְדּֽוֹן׃
וְרוּחֲךָ֙ הַטּוֹבָ֔ה נָתַ֖תָּ לְהַשְׂכִּילָ֑ם וּמַנְךָ֙ לֹא־ מָנַ֣עְתָּ מִפִּיהֶ֔ם וּמַ֛יִם נָתַ֥תָּה לָהֶ֖ם לִצְמָאָֽם׃
הַע֤וֹד הַזֶּ֙רַע֙ בַּמְּגוּרָ֔ה וְעַד־ הַגֶּ֨פֶן וְהַתְּאֵנָ֧ה וְהָרִמּ֛וֹן וְעֵ֥ץ הַזַּ֖יִת לֹ֣א נָשָׂ֑א מִן־ הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּ֖ה אֲבָרֵֽךְ׃
וֽ͏ַיְהִי֙ מִיָּמִ֣ים רַבִּ֔ים אַ֠חֲרֵי אֲשֶׁר־ הֵנִ֨יחַ יְהוָ֧ה לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל מִכָּל־ אֹיְבֵיהֶ֖ם מִסָּבִ֑יב וִיהוֹשֻׁ֣עַ זָקֵ֔ן בָּ֖א בַּיָּמִֽים׃
הִנְנִ֤י מַמְטִיר֙ כָּעֵ֣ת מָחָ֔ר בָּרָ֖ד כָּבֵ֣ד מְאֹ֑ד אֲשֶׁ֨ר לֹא־ הָיָ֤ה כָמֹ֙הוּ֙ בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם לְמִן־ הַיּ֥וֹם הִוָּסְדָ֖ה וְעַד־ עָֽתָּה׃
כֹּ֤ה הִרְאַ֙נִי֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה וְהִנֵּה֙ יוֹצֵ֣ר גֹּבַ֔י בִּתְחִלַּ֖ת עֲל֣וֹת הַלָּ֑קֶשׁ וְהִ֨נֵּה־ לֶ֔קֶשׁ אַחַ֖ר גִּזֵּ֥י הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃
אֱל֙וֹהַ֙ מִתֵּימָ֣ן יָב֔וֹא וְקָד֥וֹשׁ מֵֽהַר־ פָּארָ֖ן סֶ֑לָה כִּסָּ֤ה שָׁמַ֙יִם֙ הוֹד֔וֹ וּתְהִלָּת֖וֹ מָלְאָ֥ה הָאָֽרֶץ׃
וְהִקְרִיתֶ֤ם לָכֶם֙ עָרִ֔ים עָרֵ֥י מִקְלָ֖ט תִּהְיֶ֣ינָה לָכֶ֑ם וְנָ֥ס שָׁ֙מָּה֙ רֹצֵ֔חַ מַכֵּה־ נֶ֖פֶשׁ בִּשְׁגָגָֽה׃
זְכֹר֙ לַעֲבָדֶ֔יךָ לְאַבְרָהָ֥ם לְיִצְחָ֖ק וּֽלְיַעֲקֹ֑ב אַל־ תֵּ֗פֶן אֶל־ קְשִׁי֙ הָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֔ה וְאֶל־ רִשְׁע֖וֹ וְאֶל־ חַטָּאתֽוֹ׃
בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא אַצְמִ֤יחַ קֶ֙רֶן֙ לְבֵ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וּלְךָ֛ אֶתֵּ֥ן פִּתְחֽוֹן־ פֶּ֖ה בְּתוֹכָ֑ם וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּי־ אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃
For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward thee.
And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.
For the LORD’s portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.
To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.

yuvo raaSTram bRhad invati dyaur yau setRbhir arajjubhiH siniithaH
tayaa paahi pra te adhvaryur asthaat saM te vajro vartataam indra gavyuH
yuvor hi yantraM himyeva vaasaso .abhyaayaMsenyaa bhavatam maniiSibhiH
aSTraam puuSaa shithiraam udvariivRjat saMcakSaaNo bhuvanaa deva iiyate
vishvaM sa dhatte draviNaM yam invasy aatithyam agne ni ca dhatta it puraH
bhadraa agner vadhryashvasya saMdRsho vaamii praNiitiH suraNaa upetayaH
vRtaMcayaH sahurir vikSv aaaa\rita indrasya vocam pra kRtaani viiryaaaa\
yad dha tyad vaam purumiiLhasya sominaH pra mitraaso na dadhire svaabhuvaH
Πιστὸς ὁ λόγος· εἴ τις ἐπισκοπῆς ὀρέγεται, καλοῦ ἔργου ἐπιθυμεῖ.
ἦλθεν γὰρ ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ζητῆσαι καὶ σῶσαι τὸ ἀπολωλός.
