יֵע֙וֹרוּ֙ וְיַעֲל֣וּ הַגּוֹיִ֔ם אֶל־ עֵ֖מֶק יְהֽוֹשָׁפָ֑ט כִּ֣י שָׁ֗ם אֵשֵׁ֛ב לִשְׁפֹּ֥ט אֶת־ כָּל־ הַגּוֹיִ֖ם מִסָּבִֽיב׃
וַיִּקְח֕וּ שְׁנֵ֖י רֶ֣כֶב סוּסִ֑ים וַיִּשְׁלַ֨ח הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ אַחֲרֵ֧י מַחֲנֵֽה־ אֲרָ֛ם לֵאמֹ֖ר לְכ֥וּ וּרְאֽוּ׃
וּסְבִיב֥וֹת בֵּית־ הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים יָלִ֑ינוּ כִּֽי־ עֲלֵיהֶ֣ם מִשְׁמֶ֔רֶת וְהֵ֥ם עַל־ הַמַּפְתֵּ֖חַ וְלַבֹּ֥קֶר לַבֹּֽקֶר׃
וְאֶת־ הֽ͏ָאַרְוָדִ֥י וְאֶת־ הַצְּמָרִ֖י וְאֶת־ הֽ͏ַחֲמָתִ֑י וְאַחַ֣ר נָפֹ֔צוּ מִשְׁפְּח֖וֹת הֽ͏ַכְּנַעֲנִֽי׃
וָאֶתֵּ֤ן לָהֶם֙ אֶת־ חֻקּוֹתַ֔י וְאֶת־ מִשְׁפָּטַ֖י הוֹדַ֣עְתִּי אוֹתָ֑ם אֲשֶׁ֨ר יַעֲשֶׂ֥ה אוֹתָ֛ם הָאָדָ֖ם וָחַ֥י בָּהֶֽם׃
עָ֘לִ֤יתָ לַמָּר֨וֹם ׀ שָׁ֘בִ֤יתָ שֶּׁ֗בִי לָקַ֣חְתָּ מַ֭תָּנוֹת בָּאָדָ֑ם וְאַ֥ף ס֝וֹרְרִ֗ים לִשְׁכֹּ֤ן ׀ יָ֬הּ אֱלֹהִֽים׃
וְטִמֵּ֣א אֶת־ הַתֹּ֔פֶת אֲשֶׁ֖ר בְּגֵ֣י בני־ בֶן־ הִנֹּ֑ם לְבִלְתִּ֗י לְהַעֲבִ֨יר אִ֜ישׁ אֶת־ בְּנ֧וֹ וְאֶת־ בִּתּ֛וֹ בָּאֵ֖שׁ לַמֹּֽלֶךְ׃
כִּ֣י שַׂ֤מְתָּ מֵעִיר֙ לַגָּ֔ל קִרְיָ֥ה בְצוּרָ֖ה לְמַפֵּלָ֑ה אַרְמ֤וֹן זָרִים֙ מֵעִ֔יר לְעוֹלָ֖ם לֹ֥א יִבָּנֶֽה׃
וַיְשַׁלַּ֨ח יְהוָ֜ה בָּעָ֗ם אֵ֚ת הַנְּחָשִׁ֣ים הַשְּׂרָפִ֔ים וַֽיְנַשְּׁכ֖וּ אֶת־ הָעָ֑ם וַיָּ֥מָת עַם־ רָ֖ב מִיִּשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
הַעְתִּ֙ירוּ֙ אֶל־ יְהוָ֔ה וְרַ֕ב מִֽהְיֹ֛ת קֹלֹ֥ת אֱלֹהִ֖ים וּבָרָ֑ד וַאֲשַׁלְּחָ֣ה אֶתְכֶ֔ם וְלֹ֥א תֹסִפ֖וּן לַעֲמֹֽד׃
וּבְנֵיהֶ֗ם חֲצִי֙ מְדַבֵּ֣ר אַשְׁדּוֹדִ֔ית וְאֵינָ֥ם מַכִּירִ֖ים לְדַבֵּ֣ר יְהוּדִ֑ית וְכִלְשׁ֖וֹן עַ֥ם וָעָֽם׃
וַיָּ֙שָׁב֙ רַב־ שָׁקֵ֔ה וַיִּמְצָא֙ אֶת־ מֶ֣לֶךְ אַשּׁ֔וּר נִלְחָ֖ם עַל־ לִבְנָ֑ה כִּ֣י שָׁמַ֔ע כִּ֥י נָסַ֖ע מִלָּכִֽישׁ׃
וַֽיִּשְׁלְחוּ֙ כָּל־ הָ֣עֵדָ֔ה וַֽיְדַבְּרוּ֙ אֶל־ בְּנֵ֣י בִנְיָמִ֔ן אֲשֶׁ֖ר בְּסֶ֣לַע רִמּ֑וֹן וַיִּקְרְא֥וּ לָהֶ֖ם שָׁלֽוֹם׃
וְהָאָ֥רֶץ חָנְפָ֖ה תַּ֣חַת יֹשְׁבֶ֑יהָ כִּֽי־ עָבְר֤וּ תוֹרֹת֙ חָ֣לְפוּ חֹ֔ק הֵפֵ֖רוּ בְּרִ֥ית עוֹלָֽם׃
But as God is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay.
But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:

tubhyam bharanti kSitayo yaviSTha balim agne antita ota duuraat
pataati didyun naryasya baahvor maa te mano viSvadrya\g vi caariit
ashvaavantaM rathinaM viiravantaM sahasriNaM shatinaM vaajam indra
pratnebhir yo rushadbhir devatamo vi rebhadbhir aratir bhaati vibhvaa
kavir yaH putraH sa iim aa ciketa yas taa vijaanaat sa pituS pitaasat
ko nu vaam mitraavaruNaav Rtaayan divo vaa mahaH paarthivasya vaa de
pravadyaamanaa suvRtaa rathena dasraav imaM shRNutaM shlokam adreH
graavaa yatra madhuSud ucyate bRhad aviivashanta matibhir maniiSiNaH
ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْحَقُّ وَأَنَّ مَا يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهِ الْبَاطِلُ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْكَبِيرُ
