וּמִֽמְּנַשֶּׁ֞ה נָפְל֣וּ עַל־ דָּוִ֗יד בְּבֹא֨וֹ עִם־ פְּלִשְׁתִּ֧ים עַל־ שָׁא֛וּל לַמִּלְחָמָ֖ה וְלֹ֣א עֲזָרֻ֑ם כִּ֣י בְעֵצָ֗ה שִׁלְּחֻ֜הוּ סַרְנֵ֤י פְלִשְׁתִּים֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר בְּרָאשֵׁ֕ינוּ יִפּ֖וֹל אֶל־ אֲדֹנָ֥יו שָׁאֽוּל׃
וַיִּקְח֣וּ אֶת־ צֵדָה֩ הָעָ֨ם בְּיָדָ֜ם וְאֵ֣ת שׁוֹפְרֹֽתֵיהֶ֗ם וְאֵ֨ת כָּל־ אִ֤ישׁ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ שִׁלַּח֙ אִ֣ישׁ לְאֹֽהָלָ֔יו וּבִשְׁלֹשׁ־ מֵא֥וֹת הָאִ֖ישׁ הֽ͏ֶחֱזִ֑יק וּמַחֲנֵ֣ה מִדְיָ֔ן הָ֥יָה ל֖וֹ מִתַּ֥חַת בָּעֵֽמֶק׃
יַ֗עַן אֲשֶׁ֤ר לֹֽא־ זכרתי זָכַרְתְּ֙ אֶת־ יְמֵ֣י נְעוּרַ֔יִךְ וַתִּרְגְּזִי־ לִ֖י בְּכָל־ אֵ֑לֶּה וְגַם־ אֲנִ֨י הֵ֜א דַּרְכֵּ֣ךְ ׀ בְּרֹ֣אשׁ נָתַ֗תִּי נְאֻם֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה וְלֹ֤א עשיתי עָשִׂית֙ אֶת־ הַזִּמָּ֔ה עַ֖ל כָּל־ תּוֹעֲבֹתָֽיִךְ׃
גם כל חפץ זה לעומת זה ברא האלקים, טוב לעומת רע. טוב מטוב, רע מרע. טוב מבחין את הרע, ורע מבחין את הטוב. טוב גנוז לצדיקים ורע לרשעים:
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶֽל־ אַהֲרֹ֗ן קַ֣ח אֶת־ הַ֠מַּחְתָּה וְתֶן־ עָלֶ֨יהָ אֵ֜שׁ מֵעַ֤ל הַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ וְשִׂ֣ים קְטֹ֔רֶת וְהוֹלֵ֧ךְ מְהֵרָ֛ה אֶל־ הָעֵדָ֖ה וְכַפֵּ֣ר עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם כִּֽי־ יָצָ֥א הַקֶּ֛צֶף מִלִּפְנֵ֥י יְהוָ֖ה הֵחֵ֥ל הַנָּֽגֶף׃
And if there be any blemish therein, as if it be lame, or blind, or have any ill blemish, thou shalt not sacrifice it unto the LORD thy God.
For ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face.
αἰτούμενοι χάριν κατʼ αὐτοῦ ὅπως μεταπέμψηται αὐτὸν εἰς Ἰερουσαλήμ, ἐνέδραν ποιοῦντες ἀνελεῖν αὐτὸν κατὰ τὴν ὁδόν.
καὶ τὸ σουδάριον, ὃ ἦν ἐπὶ τῆς κεφαλῆς αὐτοῦ, οὐ μετὰ τῶν ὀθονίων κείμενον ἀλλὰ χωρὶς ἐντετυλιγμένον εἰς ἕνα τόπον·
