הֲיִקְבַּ֨ע אָדָ֜ם אֱלֹהִ֗ים כִּ֤י אַתֶּם֙ קֹבְעִ֣ים אֹתִ֔י וַאֲמַרְתֶּ֖ם בַּמֶּ֣ה קְבַעֲנ֑וּךָ הַֽמַּעֲשֵׂ֖ר וְהַתְּרוּמָֽה׃
וַיְבָ֧רֶךְ אֹתָ֛ם אֱלֹהִ֖ים לֵאמֹ֑ר פְּר֣וּ וּרְב֗וּ וּמִלְא֤וּ אֶת־ הַמַּ֙יִם֙ בַּיַּמִּ֔ים וְהָע֖וֹף יִ֥רֶב בָּאָֽרֶץ׃
Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.
He cutteth out rivers among the rocks; and his eye seeth every precious thing.
Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spake this unto him.
A righteous man hateth lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.

padaM na gor apaguuLhaM vividvaan agnir mahyam pred u vocan maniiSaam
kiM shuurapatni nas tvam abhy a\miiSi vRSaakapiM vishvasmaad indra uttaraH
ati vaayo sasato yaahi shashvato yatra graavaa vadati tatra gachataM gRham indrash ca gachatam
saM yad dhananta manyubhir janaasaH shuuraa yahviiSv oSadhiiSu vikSu
ashvam ivaadhukSad dhunim antarikSam atuurte baddhaM savitaa samudram
ghRtaprasatto asuraH sushevo raayo dhartaa dharuNo vasvo agniH
adbhir gobhir mRjyate adribhiH sutaH punaana indur varivo vidat priyam
shepo romaNvantau bhedau vaar in maNDuuka ichatiindraayendo pari srava
taraddveSaaH saasahiH pauMsyebhir marutvaan no bhavatv indra uutii
yantaM no mitraavaruNaav adhRSTaM chardir yad vaaM varuuthya\M sudaanuu
ὁ λαβὼν αὐτοῦ τὴν μαρτυρίαν ἐσφράγισεν ὅτι ὁ θεὸς ἀληθής ἐστιν.
ὡς ὤμοσα ἐν τῇ ὀργῇ μου· Εἰ εἰσελεύσονται εἰς τὴν κατάπαυσίν μου.
χρονίζοντος δὲ τοῦ νυμφίου ἐνύσταξαν πᾶσαι καὶ ἐκάθευδον.
فَعَقَرُوا النَّاقَةَ وَعَتَوْا عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ وَقَالُوا يَا صَالِحُ ائْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَا إِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
وَلَا يَأْمُرَكُمْ أَنْ تَتَّخِذُوا الْمَلَائِكَةَ وَالنَّبِيِّينَ أَرْبَابًا أَيَأْمُرُكُمْ بِالْكُفْرِ بَعْدَ إِذْ أَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ
رَبُّكُمْ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا فِي نُفُوسِكُمْ إِنْ تَكُونُوا صَالِحِينَ فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ لِلْأَوَّابِينَ غَفُورًا
وَأَنْذِرْهُمْ يَوْمَ الْحَسْرَةِ إِذْ قُضِيَ الْأَمْرُ وَهُمْ فِي غَفْلَةٍ وَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
