הִנֵּ֨ה הָי֤וּ כְקַשׁ֙ אֵ֣שׁ שְׂרָפָ֔תַם לֹֽא־ יַצִּ֥ילוּ אֶת־ נַפְשָׁ֖ם מִיַּ֣ד לֶֽהָבָ֑ה אֵין־ גַּחֶ֣לֶת לַחְמָ֔ם א֖וּר לָשֶׁ֥בֶת נֶגְדּֽוֹ׃
שָׂרֵ֨י יְהוּדָ֜ה וְשָׂרֵ֣י יְרוּשָׁלִַ֗ם הַסָּֽרִסִים֙ וְהַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים וְכֹ֖ל עַ֣ם הָאָ֑רֶץ הָעֹ֣בְרִ֔ים בֵּ֖ין בִּתְרֵ֥י הָעֵֽגֶל׃
שָׂבַ֤עְתָּ קָלוֹן֙ מִכָּב֔וֹד שְׁתֵ֥ה גַם־ אַ֖תָּה וְהֵֽעָרֵ֑ל תִּסּ֣וֹב עָלֶ֗יךָ כּ֚וֹס יְמִ֣ין יְהוָ֔ה וְקִיקָל֖וֹן עַל־ כְּבוֹדֶֽךָ׃
וַיֵּצֵ֥א מן בת־ מִבַּת־ צִיּ֖וֹן כָּל־ הֲדָרָ֑הּ הָי֣וּ שָׂרֶ֗יהָ כְּאַיָּלִים֙ לֹא־ מָצְא֣וּ מִרְעֶ֔ה וַיֵּלְכ֥וּ בְלֹא־ כֹ֖חַ לִפְנֵ֥י רוֹדֵֽף׃
כִּֽי אַתָּ֤ה שַׁלּ֙וֹתָ֙ גּוֹיִ֣ם רַבִּ֔ים יְשָׁלּ֖וּךָ כָּל־ יֶ֣תֶר עַמִּ֑ים מִדְּמֵ֤י אָדָם֙ וַחֲמַס־ אֶ֔רֶץ קִרְיָ֖ה וְכָל־ יֹ֥שְׁבֵי בָֽהּ׃
וְטוֹב֙ מִשְּׁנֵיהֶ֔ם אֵ֥ת אֲשֶׁר־ עֲדֶ֖ן לֹ֣א הָיָ֑ה אֲשֶׁ֤ר לֹֽא־ רָאָה֙ אֶת־ הַמַּעֲשֶׂ֣ה הָרָ֔ע אֲשֶׁ֥ר נַעֲשָׂ֖ה תַּ֥חַת הַשָּֽׁמֶשׁ׃
וַיִּתְחַזֵּ֥ק הָעָ֖ם אִ֣ישׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַיֹּסִ֙פוּ֙ לַעֲרֹ֣ךְ מִלְחָמָ֔ה בַּמָּק֕וֹם אֲשֶׁר־ עָ֥רְכוּ שָׁ֖ם בַּיּ֥וֹם הָרִאשֽׁוֹן׃
לָכֵ֗ן יֵשְׁב֤וּ צִיִּים֙ אֶת־ אִיִּ֔ים וְיָ֥שְׁבוּ בָ֖הּ בְּנ֣וֹת יַֽעֲנָ֑ה וְלֹֽא־ תֵשֵׁ֥ב עוֹד֙ לָנֶ֔צַח וְלֹ֥א תִשְׁכּ֖וֹן עַד־ דּ֥וֹר וָדֽוֹר׃
וְעַתָּ֗ה אֱסֹף֙ אֶת־ יֶ֣תֶר הָעָ֔ם וַחֲנֵ֥ה עַל־ הָעִ֖יר וְלָכְדָ֑הּ פֶּן־ אֶלְכֹּ֤ד אֲנִי֙ אֶת־ הָעִ֔יר וְנִקְרָ֥א שְׁמִ֖י עָלֶֽיהָ׃
כִּ֤י כַפֵּיכֶם֙ נְגֹאֲל֣וּ בַדָּ֔ם וְאֶצְבְּעוֹתֵיכֶ֖ם בֶּֽעָוֺ֑ן שִׂפְתֽוֹתֵיכֶם֙ דִּבְּרוּ־ שֶׁ֔קֶר לְשׁוֹנְכֶ֖ם עַוְלָ֥ה תֶהְגֶּֽה׃
שָׁמוֹר֙ אֶת־ חֹ֣דֶשׁ הָאָבִ֔יב וְעָשִׂ֣יתָ פֶּ֔סַח לַיהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ כִּ֞י בְּחֹ֣דֶשׁ הָֽאָבִ֗יב הוֹצִ֨יאֲךָ֜ יְהוָ֧ה אֱלֹהֶ֛יךָ מִמִּצְרַ֖יִם לָֽיְלָה׃
וַיָּרִ֖יעוּ אִ֣ישׁ יְהוּדָ֑ה וַיְהִ֗י בְּהָרִ֙יעַ֙ אִ֣ישׁ יְהוּדָ֔ה וְהָאֱלֹהִ֗ים נָגַ֤ף אֶת־ יָֽרָבְעָם֙ וְכָל־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לִפְנֵ֥י אֲבִיָּ֖ה וִיהוּדָֽה׃
שְׁבָ֤ה אִתִּי֙ אַל־ תִּירָ֔א כִּ֛י אֲשֶׁר־ יְבַקֵּ֥שׁ אֶת־ נַפְשִׁ֖י יְבַקֵּ֣שׁ אֶת־ נַפְשֶׁ֑ךָ כִּֽי־ מִשְׁמֶ֥רֶת אַתָּ֖ה עִמָּדִֽי׃
הָאֹמְרִ֗ים יְמַהֵ֧ר ׀ יָחִ֛ישָׁה מַעֲשֵׂ֖הוּ לְמַ֣עַן נִרְאֶ֑ה וְתִקְרַ֣ב וְתָב֗וֹאָה עֲצַ֛ת קְד֥וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל וְנֵדָֽעָה׃
וַאֲחֵיהֶ֗ם רָאשִׁים֙ לְבֵ֣ית אֲבוֹתָ֔ם אֶ֕לֶף וּשְׁבַ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת וְשִׁשִּׁ֑ים גִּבּ֣וֹרֵי חֵ֔יל מְלֶ֖אכֶת עֲבוֹדַ֥ת בֵּית־ הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃
כִּי֩ הָמָ֨ן בֶּֽן־ הַמְּדָ֜תָא הָֽאֲגָגִ֗י צֹרֵר֙ כָּל־ הַיְּהוּדִ֔ים חָשַׁ֥ב עַל־ הַיְּהוּדִ֖ים לְאַבְּדָ֑ם וְהִפִּ֥יל פּוּר֙ ה֣וּא הַגּוֹרָ֔ל לְהֻמָּ֖ם וּֽלְאַבְּדָֽם׃
וַיַּ֨עַשׂ יְהוָ֜ה אֶת־ הַדָּבָ֤ר הַזֶּה֙ מִֽמָּחֳרָ֔ת וַיָּ֕מָת כֹּ֖ל מִקְנֵ֣ה מִצְרָ֑יִם וּמִמִּקְנֵ֥ה בְנֵֽי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֹא־ מֵ֥ת אֶחָֽד׃
חַי־ אָנִי֮ נְאֻם־ יְהוָה֒ כִּ֣י אִם־ יִהְיֶ֞ה כָּנְיָ֤הוּ בֶן־ יְהֽוֹיָקִים֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ יְהוּדָ֔ה חוֹתָ֖ם עַל־ יַ֣ד יְמִינִ֑י כִּ֥י מִשָּׁ֖ם אֶתְּקֶֽנְךָּ׃
כִּֽי־ יִהְיֶ֣ה לְאִ֗ישׁ בֵּ֚ן סוֹרֵ֣ר וּמוֹרֶ֔ה אֵינֶ֣נּוּ שֹׁמֵ֔עַ בְּק֥וֹל אָבִ֖יו וּבְק֣וֹל אִמּ֑וֹ וְיסְּר֣וּ אֹת֔וֹ וְלֹ֥א יִשְׁמַ֖ע אֲלֵיהֶֽם׃
וַיָּ֣מָד רֹ֡חַב מִלִּפְנֵי֩ הַשַּׁ֨עַר הַתַּחְתּ֜וֹנָה לִפְנֵ֨י הֶחָצֵ֧ר הַפְּנִימִ֛י מִח֖וּץ מֵאָ֣ה אַמָּ֑ה הַקָּדִ֖ים וְהַצָּפֽוֹן׃
וַיִּגַּשׁ֙ צִדְקִיָּ֣הוּ בֶֽן־ כְּנַעֲנָ֔ה וַיַּכֶּ֥ה אֶת־ מִיכָ֖יְהוּ עַל־ הַלֶּ֑חִי וַיֹּ֕אמֶר אֵי־ זֶ֨ה עָבַ֧ר רֽוּחַ־ יְהוָ֛ה מֵאִתִּ֖י לְדַבֵּ֥ר אוֹתָֽךְ׃
וַיֵּ֧לֶךְ דָּוִ֛ד מִשָּׁ֖ם מִצְפֵּ֣ה מוֹאָ֑ב וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ׀ אֶל־ מֶ֣לֶךְ מוֹאָ֗ב יֵֽצֵא־ נָ֞א אָבִ֤י וְאִמִּי֙ אִתְּכֶ֔ם עַ֚ד אֲשֶׁ֣ר אֵדַ֔ע מַה־ יַּֽעֲשֶׂה־ לִּ֖י אֱלֹהִֽים׃
Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.
The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
But ye gave the Nazarites wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not.
And it came to pass after this, that Joash was minded to repair the house of the LORD.
Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.

RjipyaM shyenam pruSitapsum aashuM carkRtyam aryo nRpatiM na shuuram
πᾶσα πικρία καὶ θυμὸς καὶ ὀργὴ καὶ κραυγὴ καὶ βλασφημία ἀρθήτω ἀφʼ ὑμῶν σὺν πάσῃ κακίᾳ.
πᾶς ἀνὴρ προσευχόμενος ἢ προφητεύων κατὰ κεφαλῆς ἔχων καταισχύνει τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ·
ὅτι Χριστοῦ εὐωδία ἐσμὲν τῷ θεῷ ἐν τοῖς σῳζομένοις καὶ ἐν τοῖς ἀπολλυμένοις,
فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَاعْتَصَمُوا بِهِ فَسَيُدْخِلُهُمْ فِي رَحْمَةٍ مِنْهُ وَفَضْلٍ وَيَهْدِيهِمْ إِلَيْهِ صِرَاطًا مُسْتَقِيمًا
وَإِذَا رَآكَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِنْ يَتَّخِذُونَكَ إِلَّا هُزُوًا أَهَذَا الَّذِي يَذْكُرُ آلِهَتَكُمْ وَهُمْ بِذِكْرِ الرَّحْمَنِ هُمْ كَافِرُونَ
