I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes.

vi yo viirutsu rodhan mahitvota prajaa uta prasuuSv antaH
athaa mandasva jujuSaaNo andhasas tvaSTar devebhir janibhiH sumadgaNaH
sa martyeSv amRta pracetaa raayaa dyumnena shravasaa vi bhaati
kuha yaantaa suSTutiM kaavyasya divo napaataa vRSaNaa shayutraa
aa svam adma yuvamaano ajaras tRSv a\viSyann ataseSu tiSThati
uta na iim matayo .ashvayogaaH shishuM na gaavas taruNaM rihanti
indrasya vajra aayaso nimishla indrasya baahvor bhuuyiSTham ojaH

ὅς τις ἐλαφρότατος ποσσὶ κραιπνοῖσι πέλοιτο·
يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوسِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ
لَا يَأْتِيهِ الْبَاطِلُ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَلَا مِنْ خَلْفِهِ تَنْزِيلٌ مِنْ حَكِيمٍ حَمِيدٍ
وَلَئِنْ أَذَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ مِنَّا رَحْمَةً ثُمَّ نَزَعْنَاهَا مِنْهُ إِنَّهُ لَيَئُوسٌ كَفُورٌ
