הַדָּבָ֞ר אֲשֶׁר־ צִוָּ֣ה ׀ יִרְמְיָ֣הוּ הַנָּבִ֗יא אֶת־ שְׂרָיָ֣ה בֶן־ נֵרִיָּה֮ בֶּן־ מַחְסֵיָה֒ בְּלֶכְתּ֞וֹ אֶת־ צִדְקִיָּ֤הוּ מֶֽלֶךְ־ יְהוּדָה֙ בָּבֶ֔ל בִּשְׁנַ֥ת הָרְבִעִ֖ית לְמָלְכ֑וֹ וּשְׂרָיָ֖ה שַׂ֥ר מְנוּחָֽה׃
And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours.
Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.
Now it came to pass, when they had heard the law, that they separated from Israel all the mixed multitude.
For this gird you with sackcloth, lament and howl: for the fierce anger of the LORD is not turned back from us.
Thou didst walk through the sea with thine horses, through the heap of great waters.
But and if we say, Of men; all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet.
And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.
فَاسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَهُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَمْ مَنْ خَلَقْنَا إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُمْ مِنْ طِينٍ لَازِبٍ
