וּבֵ֣ית שֶׁ֔מֶשׁ קֹצְרִ֥ים קְצִיר־ חִטִּ֖ים בָּעֵ֑מֶק וַיִּשְׂא֣וּ אֶת־ עֵינֵיהֶ֗ם וַיִּרְאוּ֙ אֶת־ הָ֣אָר֔וֹן וַֽיִּשְׂמְח֖וּ לִרְאֽוֹת׃
וּכְמַרְאֵ֨ה הַמַּרְאֶ֜ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר רָאִ֗יתִי כַּמַּרְאֶ֤ה אֲשֶׁר־ רָאִ֙יתִי֙ בְּבֹאִי֙ לְשַׁחֵ֣ת אֶת־ הָעִ֔יר וּמַרְא֕וֹת כַּמַּרְאֶ֕ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר רָאִ֖יתִי אֶל־ נְהַר־ כְּבָ֑ר וָאֶפֹּ֖ל אֶל־ פָּנָֽי׃
הַזְכִּ֣ירוּ לַגּוֹיִ֗ם הִנֵּה֙ הַשְׁמִ֣יעוּ עַל־ יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם נֹצְרִ֥ים בָּאִ֖ים מֵאֶ֣רֶץ הַמֶּרְחָ֑ק וַֽיִּתְּנ֛וּ עַל־ עָרֵ֥י יְהוּדָ֖ה קוֹלָֽם׃
גַּ֤ם לְכָל־ הַדְּבָרִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יְדַבֵּ֔רוּ אַל־ תִּתֵּ֖ן לִבֶּ֑ךָ אֲשֶׁ֛ר לֹֽא־ תִשְׁמַ֥ע אֶֽת־ עַבְדְּךָ֖ מְקַלְלֶֽךָ׃
And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.
Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay; and wilt thou bring me into dust again?
Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save.
For it seemeth to me unreasonable to send a prisoner, and not withal to signify the crimes laid against him.
apa baadhadhvaM vRSaNas tamaaMsi dhatta vishvaM tanayaM tokam asme
prati me stomam aditir jagRbhyaat suunuM na maataa hRdyaM sushevam
καὶ ἐγένετο ὡς ἐπλήσθησαν αἱ ἡμέραι τῆς λειτουργίας αὐτοῦ, ἀπῆλθεν εἰς τὸν οἶκον αὐτοῦ.
