לָ֤מָּה צַּ֙מְנוּ֙ וְלֹ֣א רָאִ֔יתָ עִנִּ֥ינוּ נַפְשֵׁ֖נוּ וְלֹ֣א תֵדָ֑ע הֵ֣ן בְּי֤וֹם צֹֽמְכֶם֙ תִּמְצְאוּ־ חֵ֔פֶץ וְכָל־ עַצְּבֵיכֶ֖ם תִּנְגֹּֽשׂוּ׃
וְאַתֶּם֙ תָּשֻׁ֣בוּ הַיּ֔וֹם מֵאַחֲרֵ֖י יְהוָ֑ה וְהָיָ֗ה אַתֶּ֞ם תִּמְרְד֤וּ הַיּוֹם֙ בַּֽיהוָ֔ה וּמָחָ֕ר אֶֽל־ כָּל־ עֲדַ֥ת יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל יִקְצֹֽף׃
וַֽיַּעֲשׂ֗וּ שְׁתֵּי֙ מִשְׁבְּצֹ֣ת זָהָ֔ב וּשְׁתֵּ֖י טַבְּעֹ֣ת זָהָ֑ב וֽ͏ַיִּתְּנ֗וּ אֶת־ שְׁתֵּי֙ הַטַּבָּעֹ֔ת עַל־ שְׁנֵ֖י קְצ֥וֹת הַחֹֽשֶׁן׃
אֶֽת־ הַדָּבָ֞ר אֲשֶׁר־ כָּרַ֤תִּי אִתְּכֶם֙ בְּצֵאתְכֶ֣ם מִמִּצְרַ֔יִם וְרוּחִ֖י עֹמֶ֣דֶת בְּתוֹכְכֶ֑ם אַל־ תִּירָֽאוּ׃
