בֵּאדַ֙יִן֙ דָּֽנִיֵּ֔אל הֻעַ֖ל קֳדָ֣ם מַלְכָּ֑א עָנֵ֨ה מַלְכָּ֜א וְאָמַ֣ר לְדָנִיֵּ֗אל אנתה־ אַנְתְּ־ ה֤וּא דָנִיֵּאל֙ דִּֽי־ מִן־ בְּנֵ֤י גָלוּתָא֙ דִּ֣י יְה֔וּד דִּ֥י הַיְתִ֛י מַלְכָּ֥א אַ֖בִי מִן־ יְהֽוּד׃
כֹּה־ יַעֲשֶׂ֧ה אֱלֹהִ֛ים לְאֹיְבֵ֥י דָוִ֖ד וְכֹ֣ה יֹסִ֑יף אִם־ אַשְׁאִ֧יר מִכָּל־ אֲשֶׁר־ ל֛וֹ עַד־ הַבֹּ֖קֶר מַשְׁתִּ֥ין בְּקִֽיר׃
וַיִּזְעֲק֤וּ אֶל־ יְהוָה֙ ויאמר וַיֹּאמְרֻ֣ו חָטָ֔אנוּ כִּ֤י עָזַ֙בְנוּ֙ אֶת־ יְהוָ֔ה וַנַּעֲבֹ֥ד אֶת־ הַבְּעָלִ֖ים וְאֶת־ הָעַשְׁתָּר֑וֹת וְעַתָּ֗ה הַצִּילֵ֛נוּ מִיַּ֥ד אֹיְבֵ֖ינוּ וְנַעַבְדֶֽךָּ׃
וַֽיהוָ֤ה צְבָאוֹת֙ שֹׁפֵ֣ט צֶ֔דֶק בֹּחֵ֥ן כְּלָי֖וֹת וָלֵ֑ב אֶרְאֶ֤ה נִקְמָֽתְךָ֙ מֵהֶ֔ם כִּ֥י אֵלֶ֖יךָ גִּלִּ֥יתִי אֶת־ רִיבִֽי׃
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ אִתִּי֙ יַעֲבֹ֣ר כִּמְהָ֔ם וַאֲנִי֙ אֶעֱשֶׂה־ לּ֔וֹ אֶת־ הַטּ֖וֹב בְּעֵינֶ֑יךָ וְכֹ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־ תִּבְחַ֥ר עָלַ֖י אֶֽעֱשֶׂה־ לָּֽךְ׃
אַחֲרִ֤יב הָרִים֙ וּגְבָע֔וֹת וְכָל־ עֶשְׂבָּ֖ם אוֹבִ֑ישׁ וְשַׂמְתִּ֤י נְהָרוֹת֙ לֽ͏ָאִיִּ֔ים וַאֲגַמִּ֖ים אוֹבִֽישׁ׃
וַיִּתְקַ֤ע יוֹאָב֙ בַּשֹּׁפָ֔ר וַיָּ֣שָׁב הָעָ֔ם מִרְדֹ֖ף אַחֲרֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל כִּֽי־ חָשַׂ֥ךְ יוֹאָ֖ב אֶת־ הָעָֽם׃
I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.
There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, and it is common among men:
For thy name’s sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.
And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
