אַ֥ךְ אֶת־ הַזָּהָ֖ב וְאֶת־ הַכָּ֑סֶף אֶֽת־ הַנְּחֹ֙שֶׁת֙ אֶת־ הַבַּרְזֶ֔ל אֶֽת־ הַבְּדִ֖יל וְאֶת־ הָעֹפָֽרֶת׃
כִּ֣י אִם־ שָׁנִ֥ים הַרְבֵּ֛ה יִחְיֶ֥ה הָאָדָ֖ם בְּכֻלָּ֣ם יִשְׂמָ֑ח וְיִזְכֹּר֙ אֶת־ יְמֵ֣י הַחֹ֔שֶׁךְ כִּֽי־ הַרְבֵּ֥ה יִהְי֖וּ כָּל־ שֶׁבָּ֥א הָֽבֶל׃
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.
And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
Thou shalt not wrest the judgment of thy poor in his cause.
ye ta indra daduSo vardhayanti mahi kSatraM sthaviraM vRSNyaM ca
kaayamaano vanaa tvaM yan maatRRr ajagann apaH
duuteva hi STho yashasaa janeSu maapa sthaatam mahiSevaavapaanaat
καὶ πολλοὶ ἐξακολουθήσουσιν αὐτῶν ταῖς ἀσελγείαις, διʼ οὓς ἡ ὁδὸς τῆς ἀληθείας βλασφημηθήσεται·
τὼ μὲν ἄρʼ ἐν τρητοῖσι κατεύνασθεν λεχέεσσιν,
وَلَنُسْكِنَنَّكُمُ الْأَرْضَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامِي وَخَافَ وَعِيدِ
