וַיֹּ֤אמֶר חִזְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙ אֶֽל־ יְשַֽׁעְיָ֔הוּ ט֥וֹב דְּבַר־ יְהוָ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר דִּבַּ֑רְתָּ וַיֹּ֕אמֶר הֲל֛וֹא אִם־ שָׁל֥וֹם וֶאֱמֶ֖ת יִהְיֶ֥ה בְיָמָֽי׃
לְכֹל֙ כְּלֵ֣י הַמִּשְׁכָּ֔ן בְּכֹ֖ל עֲבֹדָת֑וֹ וְכָל־ יְתֵדֹתָ֛יו וְכָל־ יִתְדֹ֥ת הֶחָצֵ֖ר נְחֹֽשֶׁת׃
כִּ֤י תִקְנֶה֙ עֶ֣בֶד עִבְרִ֔י שֵׁ֥שׁ שָׁנִ֖ים יַעֲבֹ֑ד וּבַ֨שְּׁבִעִ֔ת יֵצֵ֥א לַֽחָפְשִׁ֖י חִנָּֽם׃
אָ֣ז תָּבֹ֗אנָה שְׁתַּ֛יִם נָשִׁ֥ים זֹנ֖וֹת אֶל־ הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ וֽ͏ַתַּעֲמֹ֖דְנָה לְפָנָֽיו׃
וַיֹּ֧אמֶר לָהֶ֛ם הַכֹּהֵ֖ן לְכ֣וּ לְשָׁל֑וֹם נֹ֣כַח יְהוָ֔ה דַּרְכְּכֶ֖ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר תֵּֽלְכוּ־ בָֽהּ׃
יְדֵ֗י נָשִׁים֙ רַחֲמָ֣נִיּ֔וֹת בִּשְּׁל֖וּ יַלְדֵיהֶ֑ן הָי֤וּ לְבָרוֹת֙ לָ֔מוֹ בְּשֶׁ֖בֶר בַּת־ עַמִּֽי׃
And Bethnimrah, and Bethharan, fenced cities: and folds for sheep.
And my heart hath been secretly enticed, or my mouth hath kissed my hand:
Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.
For God maketh my heart soft, and the Almighty troubleth me:
Have ye not asked them that go by the way? and do ye not know their tokens,
इन्द्रियाणि पराण्याहुरिन्द्रियेभ्यः परं मनः । मनसस्तु परा बुद्धिर्यो बुद्धेः परतस्तु सः
tubhyed ete marutaH sushevaa arcanty arkaM sunvanty andhaH
yo naH kash cid ririkSati rakSastvena martyaH
pra vo mahe mahivRdhe bharadhvam pracetase pra sumatiM kRNudhvam
eta u tye praty adRshran pradoSaM taskaraa iva
πρῶτα μὲν ὄτρυνεν Λυκίων ἡγήτορας ἄνδρας
αὐτὰρ ὅ γʼ ὃν φίλον υἱὸν ἐπεὶ κύσε πῆλέ τε χερσὶν
οἳ ἕθεν ἐξεγένοντο γυναικῶν τε θνητάων.
هَذَا هُدًى وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مِنْ رِجْزٍ أَلِيمٌ
