בַּח֖וּץ תַּעֲמֹ֑ד וְהָאִ֗ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֤ר אַתָּה֙ נֹשֶׁ֣ה ב֔וֹ יוֹצִ֥יא אֵלֶ֛יךָ אֶֽת־ הַעֲב֖וֹט הַחֽוּצָה׃
וְאֶזְרָעֵם֙ בָּֽעַמִּ֔ים וּבַמֶּרְחַקִּ֖ים יִזְכְּר֑וּנִי וְחָי֥וּ אֶת־ בְּנֵיהֶ֖ם וָשָֽׁבוּ׃
וַיִּכְתֹּ֥ב בַּסֵּ֖פֶר לֵאמֹ֑ר הָב֣וּ אֶת־ אֽוּרִיָּ֗ה אֶל־ מוּל֙ פְּנֵ֤י הַמִּלְחָמָה֙ הַֽחֲזָקָ֔ה וְשַׁבְתֶּ֥ם מֵאַחֲרָ֖יו וְנִכָּ֥ה וָמֵֽת׃
But Peter said unto him, Although all shall be offended, yet will not I.
My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.
And the Egyptians evil entreated us, and afflicted us, and laid upon us hard bondage:
Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
yaM vardhayantiid giraH patiM turasya raadhasaH
devaaso yatra panitaara evair urau pathi vyu\te tasthur antaH
τάμνε νέους ὄρπηκας, ἵνʼ ἅρματος ἄντυγες εἶεν·
ἐξ ἀνδρῶν χαλέπʼ ἄλγεʼ ἐπʼ ἀλλήλοισι τιθέντες.
τηλόθεν ἐξ Ἀλύβης, ὅθεν ἀργύρου ἐστὶ γενέθλη.
ἀνδρῶν λικμώντων, ὅτε τε ξανθὴ Δημήτηρ
