ושלש אמות אמ"ש בעולם, רו"ח ומי"ם וא"ש, ומהם נולדו אבות שמהם נברא הכל:
כִּ֣י אִם־ הַלְוִיִּ֗ם אֲשֶׁ֤ר רָֽחֲקוּ֙ מֵֽעָלַ֔י בִּתְע֤וֹת יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תָּע֣וּ מֵֽעָלַ֔י אַחֲרֵ֖י גִּלּֽוּלֵיהֶ֑ם וְנָשְׂא֖וּ עֲוֺנָֽם׃
וַיִּמְלֹ֥ךְ יְהוֹשָׁפָ֖ט עַל־ יְהוּדָ֑ה בֶּן־ שְׁלֹשִׁים֩ וְחָמֵ֨שׁ שָׁנָ֜ה בְּמָלְכ֗וֹ וְעֶשְׂרִ֨ים וְחָמֵ֤שׁ שָׁנָה֙ מָלַ֣ךְ בִּֽירוּשָׁלִַ֔ם וְשֵׁ֣ם אִמּ֔וֹ עֲזוּבָ֖ה בַּת־ שִׁלְחִֽי׃
וְעָשִׂ֜יתָ חַ֤ג שָׁבֻעוֹת֙ לַיהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ מִסַּ֛ת נִדְבַ֥ת יָדְךָ֖ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תִּתֵּ֑ן כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר יְבָרֶכְךָ֖ יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃
וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ אֶל־ דָּוִ֔ד צַדִּ֥יק אַתָּ֖ה מִמֶּ֑נִּי כִּ֤י אַתָּה֙ גְּמַלְתַּ֣נִי הַטּוֹבָ֔ה וַאֲנִ֖י גְּמַלְתִּ֥יךָ הָרָעָֽה׃
וַיַּ֥עַל יוֹסֵ֖ף לִקְבֹּ֣ר אֶת־ אָבִ֑יו וַיּֽ͏ַעֲל֨וּ אִתּ֜וֹ כָּל־ עַבְדֵ֤י פַרְעֹה֙ זִקְנֵ֣י בֵית֔וֹ וְכֹ֖ל זִקְנֵ֥י אֶֽרֶץ־ מִצְרָֽיִם׃
וְנָטִ֤יתִי יָדִי֙ עַל־ יְהוּדָ֔ה וְעַ֖ל כָּל־ יוֹשְׁבֵ֣י יְרוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם וְהִכְרַתִּ֞י מִן־ הַמָּק֤וֹם הַזֶּה֙ אֶת־ שְׁאָ֣ר הַבַּ֔עַל אֶת־ שֵׁ֥ם הַכְּמָרִ֖ים עִם־ הַכֹּהֲנִֽים׃
But if he be poorer than thy estimation, then he shall present himself before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to his ability that vowed shall the priest value him.
The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.

That thine eyes may be open upon this house day and night, upon the place whereof thou hast said that thou wouldest put thy name there; to hearken unto the prayer which thy servant prayeth toward this place.
