וַֽיְהִי֙ דְּבַר־ יְהוָ֔ה אֶֽל־ יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ לֵאמֹֽר׃
אִ֛ישׁ אֲשֶׁר־ יַעֲשֶׂ֥ה כָמ֖וֹהָ לְהָרִ֣יחַ בָּ֑הּ וְנִכְרַ֖ת מֵעַמָּֽיו׃
וַֽיְהִי֙ דְּבַר־ יְהוָ֔ה אֶֽל־ יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ לֵאמֹֽר׃
קַוֵּ֥ה לְשָׁל֖וֹם וְאֵ֣ין ט֑וֹב לְעֵ֥ת מַרְפֵּ֖ה וְהִנֵּ֥ה בְעָתָֽה׃
וַֽיְהִי֙ דְּבַר־ יְהוָ֔ה אֶֽל־ יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ לֵאמֹֽר׃
וְכִ֤י יֻתַּן־ מַ֙יִם֙ עַל־ זֶ֔רַע וְנָפַ֥ל מִנִּבְלָתָ֖ם עָלָ֑יו טָמֵ֥א ה֖וּא לָכֶֽם׃
וַיְהִי֙ דְּבַר־ יְהוָ֔ה אֶֽל־ יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ לֵאמֹֽר׃
עִזִּ֣ים מָאתַ֔יִם וּתְיָשִׁ֖ים עֶשְׂרִ֑ים רְחֵלִ֥ים מָאתַ֖יִם וְאֵילִ֥ים עֶשְׂרִֽים׃
I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight.
Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.
Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.
Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.

vRtraM yad ugro vy avRshcad ojasaapo bibhrataM tamasaa pariivRtam
puurviir iSo bRhatiir aare -aghaa asme bhadraa saushravasaani santu
dadhaati ketum ubhayasya jantor havyaa deveSu draviNaM sukRtsu
somo asmabhyaM kaamyam bRhantaM rayiM dadaatu viiravantam ugram
त्यक्त्वा कर्मफलासङ्गं नित्यतृप्तो निराश्रयः । कर्मण्यभिप्रवृत्तोऽपि नैव किञ्चित्करोति सः
κατέχωμεν τὴν ὁμολογίαν τῆς ἐλπίδος ἀκλινῆ, πιστὸς γὰρ ὁ ἐπαγγειλάμενος·
تَتَجَافَى جُنُوبُهُمْ عَنِ الْمَضَاجِعِ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُمْ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنْفِقُونَ
وَمَا أَصَابَكُمْ مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ فَبِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَيَعْفُو عَنْ كَثِيرٍ
