אֶֽת־ הַנָּשִׂ֗יא נָ֥שִׂיא ה֛וּא יֵֽשֶׁב־ בּ֥וֹ לֶאֱכָול־ לֶ֖חֶם לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה מִדֶּ֨רֶךְ אֻלָ֤ם הַשַּׁ֙עַר֙ יָב֔וֹא וּמִדַּרְכּ֖וֹ יֵצֵֽא׃
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֶל־ מֹשֶׁ֗ה עֲשֵׂ֤ה לְךָ֙ שָׂרָ֔ף וְשִׂ֥ים אֹת֖וֹ עַל־ נֵ֑ס וְהָיָה֙ כָּל־ הַנָּשׁ֔וּךְ וְרָאָ֥ה אֹת֖וֹ וָחָֽי׃
בִּמְק֗וֹם אֲשֶׁ֤ר תִּשְׁמְעוּ֙ אֶת־ ק֣וֹל הַשּׁוֹפָ֔ר שָׁ֖מָּה תִּקָּבְצ֣וּ אֵלֵ֑ינוּ אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ יִלָּ֥חֶם לָֽנוּ׃
וַֽיִּפְסְל֞וּ בֹּנֵ֧י שְׁלֹמֹ֛ה וּבֹנֵ֥י חִיר֖וֹם וְהַגִּבְלִ֑ים וַיָּכִ֛ינוּ הָעֵצִ֥ים וְהָאֲבָנִ֖ים לִבְנ֥וֹת הַבָּֽיִת׃
וַיְהִ֣י בַבֹּ֔קֶר וְהִנֵּה־ הִ֖וא לֵאָ֑ה וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֶל־ לָבָ֗ן מַה־ זֹּאת֙ עָשִׂ֣יתָ לִּ֔י הֲלֹ֤א בְרָחֵל֙ עָבַ֣דְתִּי עִמָּ֔ךְ וְלָ֖מָּה רִמִּיתָֽנִי׃
וְאֶת־ הַ֠חֲזִיר כִּֽי־ מַפְרִ֨יס פַּרְסָ֜ה ה֗וּא וְשֹׁסַ֥ע שֶׁ֙סַע֙ פַּרְסָ֔ה וְה֖וּא גֵּרָ֣ה לֹֽא־ יִגָּ֑ר טָמֵ֥א ה֖וּא לָכֶֽם׃
וַיֶּ֧גֶל מֶֽלֶךְ־ אַשּׁ֛וּר אֶת־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל אַשּׁ֑וּרָה וַיַּנְחֵ֞ם בַּחְלַ֧ח וּבְחָב֛וֹר נְהַ֥ר גּוֹזָ֖ן וְעָרֵ֥י מָדָֽי׃
בַּחֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ הַשְּׁמִינִ֔י בִּשְׁנַ֥ת שְׁתַּ֖יִם לְדָרְיָ֑וֶשׁ הָיָ֣ה דְבַר־ יְהוָ֗ה אֶל־ זְכַרְיָה֙ בֶּן־ בֶּ֣רֶכְיָ֔ה בֶּן־ עִדּ֥וֹ הַנָּבִ֖יא לֵאמֹֽר׃
אָכֵ֤ן חֳלָיֵ֙נוּ֙ ה֣וּא נָשָׂ֔א וּמַכְאֹבֵ֖ינוּ סְבָלָ֑ם וַאֲנַ֣חְנוּ חֲשַׁבְנֻ֔הוּ נָג֛וּעַ מֻכֵּ֥ה אֱלֹהִ֖ים וּמְעֻנֶּֽה׃
וְהִשְׁאַרְתִּ֥י בְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל שִׁבְעַ֣ת אֲלָפִ֑ים כָּל־ הַבִּרְכַּ֗יִם אֲשֶׁ֤ר לֹֽא־ כָֽרְעוּ֙ לַבַּ֔עַל וְכָ֨ל־ הַפֶּ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא־ נָשַׁ֖ק לֽוֹ׃
וְלָקַ֨ח הַכֹּהֵ֤ן מִדָּמָהּ֙ בְּאֶצְבָּע֔וֹ וְנָתַ֕ן עַל־ קַרְנֹ֖ת מִזְבַּ֣ח הָעֹלָ֑ה וְאֶת־ כָּל־ דָּמָ֣הּ יִשְׁפֹּ֔ךְ אֶל־ יְס֖וֹד הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃
וַתֹּ֙אמֶר֙ כְּדִבְרֵיכֶ֣ם כֶּן־ ה֔וּא וַֽתְּשַׁלְּחֵ֖ם וַיֵּלֵ֑כוּ וַתִּקְשֹׁ֛ר אֶת־ תִּקְוַ֥ת הַשָּׁנִ֖י בַּחַלּֽוֹן׃
וְהֽוּא־ הִפִּ֤יל לָהֶן֙ גּוֹרָ֔ל וְיָד֛וֹ חִלְּקַ֥תָּה לָהֶ֖ם בַּקָּ֑ו עַד־ עוֹלָם֙ יִֽירָשׁ֔וּהָ לְד֥וֹר וָד֖וֹר יִשְׁכְּנוּ־ בָֽהּ׃
וַ֠יֵּרָא מַלְאַ֨ךְ יְהֹוָ֥ה אֵלָ֛יו בְּלַבַּת־ אֵ֖שׁ מִתּ֣וֹךְ הַסְּנֶ֑ה וַיַּ֗רְא וְהִנֵּ֤ה הַסְּנֶה֙ בֹּעֵ֣ר בָּאֵ֔שׁ וְהַסְּנֶ֖ה אֵינֶ֥נּוּ אֻכָּֽל׃
הַנֵּֽחָמִים֙ בָּֽאֵלִ֔ים תַּ֖חַת כָּל־ עֵ֣ץ רַעֲנָ֑ן שֹׁחֲטֵ֤י הַיְלָדִים֙ בַּנְּחָלִ֔ים תַּ֖חַת סְעִפֵ֥י הַסְּלָעִֽים׃
פְּלֵטִ֣ים מֵחֶ֔רֶב הִלְכ֖וּ אַֽל־ תַּעֲמֹ֑דוּ זִכְר֤וּ מֵֽרָחוֹק֙ אֶת־ יְהוָ֔ה וִירֽוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם תַּעֲלֶ֥ה עַל־ לְבַבְכֶֽם׃
כִּ֣י לֹ֤א יָשַׁ֙בְתִּי֙ בְּבַ֔יִת מִן־ הַיּ֗וֹם אֲשֶׁ֤ר הֶעֱלֵ֙יתִי֙ אֶת־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל עַ֖ד הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֑ה וָֽאֶהְיֶ֛ה מֵאֹ֥הֶל אֶל־ אֹ֖הֶל וּמִמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃
וּפְאַת֙ נֶ֣גֶב תֵּימָ֔נָה מִתָּמָ֗ר עַד־ מֵי֙ מְרִיב֣וֹת קָדֵ֔שׁ נַחֲלָ֖ה אֶל־ הַיָּ֣ם הַגָּד֑וֹל וְאֵ֥ת פְּאַת־ תֵּימָ֖נָה נֶֽגְבָּה׃
וְעֹבַדְיָה֙ בֶּֽן־ שְׁמַֽעְיָ֔ה בֶּן־ גָּלָ֖ל בֶּן־ יְדוּת֑וּן וּבֶרֶכְיָ֤ה בֶן־ אָסָא֙ בֶּן־ אֶלְקָנָ֔ה הַיּוֹשֵׁ֖ב בְּחַצְרֵ֥י נְטוֹפָתִֽי׃
Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
Art thou the first man that was born? or wast thou made before the hills?
Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
A fool’s wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame.
For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
So are the paths of all that forget God; and the hypocrite’s hope shall perish:
Of Zerah, the family of the Zarhites: of Shaul, the family of the Shaulites.
Thou hast made his glory to cease, and cast his throne down to the ground.
Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight?
Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.
Then I saw that wisdom excelleth folly, as far as light excelleth darkness.

citraM tad vo maruto yaama cekite pRshnyaa yad uudhar apy aapayo duhuH
jaanann Rtam prathamaM yat sva\rNaram prashastaye kam avRNiita sukratuH
πέποιθάς τε σεαυτὸν ὁδηγὸν εἶναι τυφλῶν, φῶς τῶν ἐν σκότει,
Τότε ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἐλάλησεν τοῖς ὄχλοις καὶ τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ
καὶ ἰδού τινες τῶν γραμματέων εἶπαν ἐν ἑαυτοῖς· Οὗτος βλασφημεῖ.
Ἄγουσιν αὐτὸν πρὸς τοὺς Φαρισαίους τόν ποτε τυφλόν.
καὶ αὕτη αὐτοῖς ἡ παρʼ ἐμοῦ διαθήκη, ὅταν ἀφέλωμαι τὰς ἁμαρτίας αὐτῶν.
وَيَوْمَ يَعَضُّ الظَّالِمُ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ يَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي اتَّخَذْتُ مَعَ الرَّسُولِ سَبِيلًا
وَجَعَلْنَا فِي الْأَرْضِ رَوَاسِيَ أَنْ تَمِيدَ بِهِمْ وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا فِجَاجًا سُبُلًا لَعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ
مَنْ كَانَ يُرِيدُ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا فَعِنْدَ اللَّهِ ثَوَابُ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًا
