וַיָּבֹא֙ הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ דָּוִ֔יד וַיֵּ֖שֶׁב לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וַיֹּ֗אמֶר מִֽי־ אֲנִ֞י יְהוָ֤ה אֱלֹהִים֙ וּמִ֣י בֵיתִ֔י כִּ֥י הֲבִיאֹתַ֖נִי עַד־ הֲלֹֽם׃
וַיְשַׁמַּ֤ע שָׁאוּל֙ אֶת־ הָעָ֔ם וַֽיִּפְקְדֵם֙ בַּטְּלָאִ֔ים מָאתַ֥יִם אֶ֖לֶף רַגְלִ֑י וַעֲשֶׂ֥רֶת אֲלָפִ֖ים אֶת־ אִ֥ישׁ יְהוּדָֽה׃
וְהָיָ֤ה לְאוֹת֙ עַל־ יָ֣דְכָ֔ה וּלְטוֹטָפֹ֖ת בֵּ֣ין עֵינֶ֑יךָ כִּ֚י בְּחֹ֣זֶק יָ֔ד הוֹצִיאָ֥נוּ יְהוָ֖ה מִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃
אֶת־ מִ֤י חֵרַ֙פְתָּ֙ וְגִדַּ֔פְתָּ וְעַל־ מִ֖י הֲרִימ֣וֹתָ קּ֑וֹל וַתִּשָּׂ֥א מָר֛וֹם עֵינֶ֖יךָ עַל־ קְד֥וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
כְּטַל־ חֶרְמ֗וֹן שֶּׁיֹּרֵד֮ עַל־ הַרְרֵ֢י צִ֫יּ֥וֹן כִּ֤י שָׁ֨ם ׀ צִוָּ֣ה יְ֭הוָה אֶת־ הַבְּרָכָ֑ה חַ֝יִּ֗ים עַד־ הָעוֹלָֽם׃
אֵ֣לֶּה הֵ֞ם בְּנֵ֤י יִשְׁמָעֵאל֙ וְאֵ֣לֶּה שְׁמֹתָ֔ם בְּחַצְרֵיהֶ֖ם וּבְטִֽירֹתָ֑ם שְׁנֵים־ עָשָׂ֥ר נְשִׂיאִ֖ם לְאֻמֹּתָֽם׃
וַיֵּצֵ֥א מֹשֶׁ֛ה וְאַהֲרֹ֖ן מֵעִ֣ם פַּרְעֹ֑ה וַיִּצְעַ֤ק מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶל־ יְהוָ֔ה עַל־ דְּבַ֥ר הַֽצְפַרְדְּעִ֖ים אֲשֶׁר־ שָׂ֥ם לְפַרְעֹֽה׃
And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.
They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth.
And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.
