שלש מים מרוח, חקק וחצב בהן תהו ובהו רפש וטיט, חקקן כמין ערוגה, חצבן כמין חומה, סיבבם כמין מעזיבה. ויצק מים עליהן ונעשו עפר שנאמר כי לשלג יאמר הוי ארץ:
וַיַּעֲמֹ֨ד הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ עַל־ עָמְד֗וֹ וַיִּכְרֹ֣ת אֶֽת־ הַבְּרִית֮ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָה֒ לָלֶ֜כֶת אַחֲרֵ֣י יְהוָ֗ה וְלִשְׁמ֤וֹר אֶת־ מִצְוֺתָיו֙ וְעֵֽדְוֺתָ֣יו וְחֻקָּ֔יו בְּכָל־ לְבָב֖וֹ וּבְכָל־ נַפְשׁ֑וֹ לַעֲשׂוֹת֙ אֶת־ דִּבְרֵ֣י הַבְּרִ֔ית הַכְּתוּבִ֖ים עַל־ הַסֵּ֥פֶר הַזֶּֽה׃
וְזָכְר֨וּ פְלִֽיטֵיכֶ֜ם אוֹתִ֗י בַּגּוֹיִם֮ אֲשֶׁ֣ר נִשְׁבּוּ־ שָׁם֒ אֲשֶׁ֨ר נִשְׁבַּ֜רְתִּי אֶת־ לִבָּ֣ם הַזּוֹנֶ֗ה אֲשֶׁר־ סָר֙ מֵֽעָלַ֔י וְאֵת֙ עֵֽינֵיהֶ֔ם הַזֹּנ֕וֹת אַחֲרֵ֖י גִּלּֽוּלֵיהֶ֑ם וְנָקֹ֙טּוּ֙ בִּפְנֵיהֶ֔ם אֶל־ הָֽרָעוֹת֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשׂ֔וּ לְכֹ֖ל תּוֹעֲבֹתֵיהֶֽם׃
And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour.
Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.

ὁ δὲ εἶπεν· Ὁ θεὸς τῶν πατέρων ἡμῶν προεχειρίσατό σε γνῶναι τὸ θέλημα αὐτοῦ καὶ ἰδεῖν τὸν δίκαιον καὶ ἀκοῦσαι φωνὴν ἐκ τοῦ στόματος αὐτοῦ,
