עשר ספירות בלימה, בלום פיך מלדבר ולבך מלהרהר, ואם רץ לבך שוב למקום, שלכך נאמר והחיות רצוא ושוב. ועל דבר זה נכרת ברית:
וְשׁ֣וֹבַבְתִּ֔יךָ וְנָתַתִּ֥י חַחִ֖ים בִּלְחָיֶ֑יךָ וְהוֹצֵאתִי֩ אוֹתְךָ֨ וְאֶת־ כָּל־ חֵילֶ֜ךָ סוּסִ֣ים וּפָרָשִׁ֗ים לְבֻשֵׁ֤י מִכְלוֹל֙ כֻּלָּ֔ם קָהָ֥ל רָב֙ צִנָּ֣ה וּמָגֵ֔ן תֹּפְשֵׂ֥י חֲרָב֖וֹת כֻּלָּֽם׃
But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
So I spake unto you; and ye would not hear, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD, and went presumptuously up into the hill.
And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
And he that killeth a beast, he shall restore it: and he that killeth a man, he shall be put to death.
