yaa deveSu tanva\m airayanta yaasaaM somo vishvaa ruupaaNi veda

vyuchantii jiivam udiirayanty uSaa mRtaM kaM cana bodhayantii

And now, LORD, thou art God, and hast promised this goodness unto thy servant:

Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith.

brahmaaNy atrer ava taM sRjantu ninditaaro nindyaaso bhavantu

sa vRtrahatye havyaH sa iiDyaH sa suSTuta indraH satyaraadhaaH

avartyaa shuna aantraaNi pece na deveSu vivide marDitaaram

vayam agne vanuyaama tvotaa vasuuyavo haviSaa budhyamaanaaH

O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

sa tvaM dakSasyaavRko vRdho bhuur aryaH parasyaantarasya taruSaH

vidyudrathaa maruta RSTimanto divo maryaa Rtajaataa ayaasaH

My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh faileth of fatness.

A man that flattereth his neighbour spreadeth a net for his feet.

asi somena samayaa vipRkta aahus te triiNi divi bandhanaani

tvaM daataa prathamo raadhasaam asy asi satya iishaanakRt

taa tuu ta indra mahato mahaani vishveSv it savaneSu pravaacyaa

devaas ta indra sakhyaaya yemire bRhadbhaano marudgaNa

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
