שִׁבְעַ֣ת יָמִ֗ים יְכַפְּרוּ֙ אֶת־ הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ וְטִֽהֲר֖וּ אֹת֑וֹ וּמִלְא֖וּ ידו יָדָֽיו׃

וּמִצְרַ֡יִם יָלַ֞ד אֶת־ לודיים לוּדִ֧ים וְאֶת־ עֲנָמִ֛ים וְאֶת־ לְהָבִ֖ים וְאֶת־ נַפְתֻּחִֽים׃

וּמַלְכִ֣ין תַּקִּיפִ֗ין הֲווֹ֙ עַל־ יְר֣וּשְׁלֶ֔ם וְשַׁ֨לִּיטִ֔ין בְּכֹ֖ל עֲבַ֣ר נַהֲרָ֑ה וּמִדָּ֥ה בְל֛וֹ וַהֲלָ֖ךְ מִתְיְהֵ֥ב לְהֽוֹן׃

אֲנִ֤י יָדַ֙עְתִּי֙ נְאֻם־ יְהוָ֔ה עֶבְרָת֖וֹ וְלֹא־ כֵ֑ן בַּדָּ֖יו לֹא־ כֵ֥ן עָשֽׂוּ׃

Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD.

Now the men of Israel had sworn in Mizpeh, saying, There shall not any of us give his daughter unto Benjamin to wife.

For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.

Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not:

Now therefore, I pray thee, let thy servant abide instead of the lad a bondman to my lord; and let the lad go up with his brethren.

And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.
