כִּֽי־ אַתָּ֣ה אֲ֭דֹנָי ט֣וֹב וְסַלָּ֑ח וְרַב־ חֶ֝֗סֶד לְכָל־ קֹרְאֶֽיךָ׃

וּמֵהֶ֗ם מְמֻנִּים֙ עַל־ הַכֵּלִ֔ים וְעַ֖ל כָּל־ כְּלֵ֣י הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ וְעַל־ הַסֹּ֙לֶת֙ וְהַיַּ֣יִן וְהַשֶּׁ֔מֶן וְהַלְּבוֹנָ֖ה וְהַבְּשָׂמִֽים׃

וַיִּשְׂמְח֥וּ כָל־ עַם־ הָאָ֖רֶץ וְהָעִ֣יר שָׁקָ֑טָה וְאֶת־ עֲתַלְיָ֖הוּ הֵמִ֥יתוּ בֶחָֽרֶב׃

אֵין־ כֵּהָ֣ה לְשִׁבְרֶ֔ךָ נַחְלָ֖ה מַכָּתֶ֑ךָ כֹּ֣ל ׀ שֹׁמְעֵ֣י שִׁמְעֲךָ֗ תָּ֤קְעוּ כַף֙ עָלֶ֔יךָ כִּ֗י עַל־ מִ֛י לֹֽא־ עָבְרָ֥ה רָעָתְךָ֖ תָּמִֽיד׃

יָ֭שׁוּבוּ עַל־ עֵ֣קֶב בָּשְׁתָּ֑ם הָ֝אֹמְרִ֗ים הֶ֘אָ֥ח ׀ הֶאָֽח׃

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ לַמַּלְאָ֔ךְ וַיָּ֥שֶׁב חַרְבּ֖וֹ אֶל־ נְדָנָֽהּ׃

And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs.

Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

stambhiid dha dyaaM sa dharuNam pruSaayad Rbhur vaajaaya draviNaM naro goH

Then came in all the king’s wise men: but they could not read the writing, nor make known to the king the interpretation thereof.

Then Jeremiah said unto all the people, to the men, and to the women, and to all the people which had given him that answer, saying,

Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;

The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness’ sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.

I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, if ye find my beloved, that ye tell him, that I am sick of love.

And as they went about to kill him, tidings came unto the chief captain of the band, that all Jerusalem was in an uproar.

And I will wait upon the LORD, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.

And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.

aa bhaaratii bhaaratiibhiH sajoSaa iLaa devair manuSye\bhir agniH

पुण्यो गन्धः पृथिव्यां च तेजश्चास्मि विभावसौ । जीवनं सर्वभूतेषु तपश्चास्मि तपस्विषु

μεθʼ ἧς ἐπόρνευσαν οἱ βασιλεῖς τῆς γῆς, καὶ ἐμεθύσθησαν οἱ κατοικοῦντες τὴν γῆν ἐκ τοῦ οἴνου τῆς πορνείας αὐτῆς.

Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Dan, were threescore and two thousand and seven hundred.

We will go three days’ journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to the LORD our God, as he shall command us.

And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem.
