וַתְּהִ֨י צַעֲקַ֥ת הָעָ֛ם וּנְשֵׁיהֶ֖ם גְּדוֹלָ֑ה אֶל־ אֲחֵיהֶ֖ם הַיְּהוּדִֽים׃

אֲרוֹמִמְךָ֣ יְ֭הוָה כִּ֣י דִלִּיתָ֑נִי וְלֹא־ שִׂמַּ֖חְתָּ אֹיְבַ֣י לִֽי׃

שִׁ֗יר הַֽמַּ֫עֲל֥וֹת אֵ֭לֶיךָ נָשָׂ֣אתִי אֶת־ עֵינַ֑י הַ֝יֹּשְׁבִ֗י בַּשָּׁמָֽיִם׃

אֹ֣רֶךְ יָ֭מִים בִּֽימִינָ֑הּ בִּ֝שְׂמֹאולָ֗הּ עֹ֣שֶׁר וְכָבֽוֹד׃

כָּל־ כְּבוּדָּ֣ה בַת־ מֶ֣לֶךְ פְּנִ֑ימָה מִֽמִּשְׁבְּצ֖וֹת זָהָ֣ב לְבוּשָֽׁהּ׃

וְהִֽתְחַתְּנ֖וּ אֹתָ֑נוּ בְּנֹֽתֵיכֶם֙ תִּתְּנוּ־ לָ֔נוּ וְאֶת־ בְּנֹתֵ֖ינוּ תִּקְח֥וּ לָכֶֽם׃

And Asa did that which was good and right in the eyes of the LORD his God:

ayaM ha yad vaaM devayaa u adrir uurdhvo vivakti somasud yuvabhyaam

For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.

This also cometh forth from the LORD of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working.

Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?

And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

And Pharaoh said unto him, Get thee from me, take heed to thyself, see my face no more; for in that day thou seest my face thou shalt die.

οὕτως γὰρ ἐντέταλται ἡμῖν ὁ κύριος· Τέθεικά σε εἰς φῶς ἐθνῶν τοῦ εἶναί σε εἰς σωτηρίαν ἕως ἐσχάτου τῆς γῆς.

If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

abhi prayaaMsi sudhitaa vaso gahi mandasva dhiitibhir hitaH

He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.

But the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses.
