לַ֭יִשׁ גִּבּ֣וֹר בַּבְּהֵמָ֑ה וְלֹא־ יָ֝שׁ֗וּב מִפְּנֵי־ כֹֽל׃

דִּ֭בְרֵי לְמוּאֵ֣ל מֶ֑לֶךְ מַ֝שָּׂ֗א אֲ‍ֽשֶׁר־ יִסְּרַ֥תּוּ אִמּֽוֹ׃

שָׁלֹ֣שׁ שָׁנִ֔ים מָלַ֖ךְ בִּירוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם וְשֵׁ֣ם אִמּ֔וֹ מַעֲכָ֖ה בַּת־ אֲבִישָׁלֽוֹם׃

גַּם־ אֵל֮ יִתָּצְךָ֢ לָ֫נֶ֥צַח יַחְתְּךָ֣ וְיִסָּחֲךָ֣ מֵאֹ֑הֶל וְשֵֽׁרֶשְׁךָ֨ מֵאֶ֖רֶץ חַיִּ֣ים סֶֽלָה׃

וַיִּקְשְׁר֤וּ כֻלָּם֙ יַחְדָּ֔ו לָב֖וֹא לְהִלָּחֵ֣ם בִּירוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם וְלַעֲשׂ֥וֹת ל֖וֹ תּוֹעָֽה׃

And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

And it came to pass in the seventh year, in the fifth month, the tenth day of the month, that certain of the elders of Israel came to enquire of the LORD, and sat before me.

Wilt thou play with him as with a bird? or wilt thou bind him for thy maidens?

The voice thereof shall go like a serpent; for they shall march with an army, and come against her with axes, as hewers of wood.

(Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.

aad dakSiNaa yujyate vaajayanty uttaanaam uurdhvo adhayaj juhuubhiH

διὰ ταύτην οὖν τὴν αἰτίαν παρεκάλεσα ὑμᾶς ἰδεῖν καὶ προσλαλῆσαι, ἕνεκεν γὰρ τῆς ἐλπίδος τοῦ Ἰσραὴλ τὴν ἅλυσιν ταύτην περίκειμαι.

Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.

And they first took their journey according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
