הַחֵ֣קֶר אֱל֣וֹהַ תִּמְצָ֑א אִ֤ם עַד־ תַּכְלִ֖ית שַׁדַּ֣י תִּמְצָֽא׃

הַנֵּֽחָמִים֙ בָּֽאֵלִ֔ים תַּ֖חַת כָּל־ עֵ֣ץ רַעֲנָ֑ן שֹׁחֲטֵ֤י הַיְלָדִים֙ בַּנְּחָלִ֔ים תַּ֖חַת סְעִפֵ֥י הַסְּלָעִֽים׃

יִ֭גֶל יְב֣וּל בֵּית֑וֹ נִ֝גָּר֗וֹת בְּי֣וֹם אַפּֽוֹ׃

וַיִּשְׁכַּ֥ב מְנַחֵ֖ם עִם־ אֲבֹתָ֑יו וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ פְּקַחְיָ֥ה בְנ֖וֹ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃

יִ֭רְעֲפוּ נְא֣וֹת מִדְבָּ֑ר וְ֝גִ֗יל גְּבָע֥וֹת תַּחְגֹּֽרְנָה׃

For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

But the miry places thereof and the marishes thereof shall not be healed; they shall be given to salt.

And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.

And the child grew, and was weaned: and Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned.

vanoti hi sunvan kSayam pariiNasaH sunvaano hi Smaa yajaty ava dviSo devaanaam ava dviSaH

baL itthaa tad vapuSe dhaayi darshataM devasya bhargaH sahaso yato jani

And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar,

agne vi pashya bRhataabhi raayeSaaM no netaa bhavataad anu dyuun

καὶ ἔκραξεν φωνῇ μεγάλῃ ὥσπερ λέων μυκᾶται. καὶ ὅτε ἔκραξεν, ἐλάλησαν αἱ ἑπτὰ βρονταὶ τὰς ἑαυτῶν φωνάς.

Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.

And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran: and his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt.

Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?

ἰδοῦσα δὲ αὐτὸν παιδίσκη τις καθήμενον πρὸς τὸ φῶς καὶ ἀτενίσασα αὐτῷ εἶπεν· Καὶ οὗτος σὺν αὐτῷ ἦν·

وَكَذَلِكَ جَعَلْنَا فِي كُلِّ قَرْيَةٍ أَكَابِرَ مُجْرِمِيهَا لِيَمْكُرُوا فِيهَا وَمَا يَمْكُرُونَ إِلَّا بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ

And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.
