שְׂרֻפָ֣ה בָאֵ֣שׁ כְּסוּחָ֑ה מִגַּעֲרַ֖ת פָּנֶ֣יךָ יֹאבֵֽדוּ׃

וְאַרְפַּכְשַׁ֖ד יָלַ֣ד אֶת־ שָׁ֑לַח וְשֶׁ֖לַח יָלַ֥ד אֶת־ עֵֽבֶר׃

וְאַרְפַּכְשַׁ֖ד יָלַ֣ד אֶת־ שָׁ֑לַח וְשֶׁ֖לַח יָלַ֥ד אֶת־ עֵֽבֶר׃

עַל־ כֵּ֤ן ׀ לֹא־ יָקֻ֣מוּ רְ֭שָׁעִים בַּמִּשְׁפָּ֑ט וְ֝חַטָּאִ֗ים בַּעֲדַ֥ת צַדִּיקִֽים׃

בְּנֵ֥י מְרָרִ֖י מַחְלִ֑י לִבְנִ֥י בְנ֛וֹ שִׁמְעִ֥י בְנ֖וֹ עֻזָּ֥ה בְנֽוֹ׃

אִם־ תָּשׁ֣וּב עַד־ שַׁ֭דַּי תִּבָּנֶ֑ה תַּרְחִ֥יק עַ֝וְלָ֗ה מֵאָהֳלֶֽךָ׃

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

येषां त्वन्तगतं पापं जनानां पुण्यकर्मणाम् । ते द्वन्द्वमोहनिर्मुक्ता भजन्ते मां दृढव्रताः

abhi dyumnam bRhad yasha iSas pate didiihi deva devayuH

قُلْ بِفَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَبِرَحْمَتِهِ فَبِذَلِكَ فَلْيَفْرَحُوا هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ

For he is not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, and we should come together in judgment.

Our little ones, our wives, our flocks, and all our cattle, shall be there in the cities of Gilead:

And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

कथं न ज्ञेयमस्माभिः पापादस्मान्निवर्तितुम् । कुलक्षयकृतं दोषं प्रपश्यद्भिर्जनार्दन

Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

διʼ οὗ καὶ σῴζεσθε, τίνι λόγῳ εὐηγγελισάμην ὑμῖν, εἰ κατέχετε, ἐκτὸς εἰ μὴ εἰκῇ ἐπιστεύσατε.

Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
