לֹא־ תַעֲל֥וּ עָלָ֛יו קְטֹ֥רֶת זָרָ֖ה וְעֹלָ֣ה וּמִנְחָ֑ה וְנֵ֕סֶךְ לֹ֥א תִסְּכ֖וּ עָלָֽיו׃

מָֽה־ אֱ֭נוֹשׁ כִּ֣י תְגַדְּלֶ֑נּוּ וְכִי־ תָשִׁ֖ית אֵלָ֣יו לִבֶּֽךָ׃

עֲצַבֵּ֣י הַ֭גּוֹיִם כֶּ֣סֶף וְזָהָ֑ב מַ֝עֲשֵׂ֗ה יְדֵ֣י אָדָֽם׃

הִקְשִׁ֣יחַ בָּנֶ֣יהָ לְּלֹא־ לָ֑הּ לְרִ֖יק יְגִיעָ֣הּ בְּלִי־ פָֽחַד׃

וַיּ֥וֹסֶף ע֖וֹד יִפְתָּ֑ח וַיִּשְׁלַח֙ מַלְאָכִ֔ים אֶל־ מֶ֖לֶךְ בְּנֵ֥י עַמּֽוֹן׃

καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· Ὡς ἐπὶ λῃστὴν ἐξήλθατε μετὰ μαχαιρῶν καὶ ξύλων συλλαβεῖν με;

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
