וִֽ֭ירֹמְמוּהוּ בִּקְהַל־ עָ֑ם וּבְמוֹשַׁ֖ב זְקֵנִ֣ים יְהַלְלֽוּהוּ׃

וַֽיְהִי֙ דְּבַר־ יְהוָ֔ה אֶֽל־ יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ לֵאמֽוֹר׃

יְֽהוָ֗ה בֹּ֭קֶר תִּשְׁמַ֣ע קוֹלִ֑י בֹּ֥קֶר אֶֽעֱרָךְ־ לְ֝ךָ֗ וַאֲצַפֶּֽה׃

And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash withal.

For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.

διωκόμενοι ἀλλʼ οὐκ ἐγκαταλειπόμενοι, καταβαλλόμενοι ἀλλʼ οὐκ ἀπολλύμενοι,

Correct thy son, and he shall give thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul.

upa no vaajaa adhvaram RbhukSaa devaa yaata pathibhir devayaanaiH

वेदाहं समतीतानि वर्तमानानि चार्जुन । भविष्याणि च भूतानि मां तु वेद न कश्चन

Happy are thy men, happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and that hear thy wisdom.

And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.

maa tvaa tanad iishiSe viirya\syobhayebhyaH pra cikitsaa gaviSTau

He gave his people over also unto the sword; and was wroth with his inheritance.

मन्यसे यदि तच्छक्यं मया द्रष्टुमिति प्रभो । योगेश्वर ततो मे त्वं दर्शयात्मानमव्ययम्

وَلَقَدْ أَنْزَلْنَا إِلَيْكُمْ آيَاتٍ مُبَيِّنَاتٍ وَمَثَلًا مِنَ الَّذِينَ خَلَوْا مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ وَمَوْعِظَةً لِلْمُتَّقِينَ

And so it was, that all that fell that day, both of men and women, were twelve thousand, even all the men of Ai.

The sons of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.

οἱ δὲ λοιποὶ κρατήσαντες τοὺς δούλους αὐτοῦ ὕβρισαν καὶ ἀπέκτειναν.
