שַׁבְּחִ֣י יְ֭רוּשָׁלִַם אֶת־ יְהוָ֑ה הַֽלְלִ֖י אֱלֹהַ֣יִךְ צִיּֽוֹן׃

אַל־ תִּתְהַדַּ֥ר לִפְנֵי־ מֶ֑לֶךְ וּבִמְק֥וֹם גְּ֝דֹלִ֗ים אַֽל־ תַּעֲמֹֽד׃

וַיִּפְתַּ֨ח עֶזְרָ֤א הַסֵּ֙פֶר֙ לְעֵינֵ֣י כָל־ הָעָ֔ם כִּֽי־ מֵעַ֥ל כָּל־ הָעָ֖ם הָיָ֑ה וּכְפִתְח֖וֹ עָֽמְד֥וּ כָל־ הָעָֽם׃

ἔχομεν θυσιαστήριον ἐξ οὗ φαγεῖν οὐκ ἔχουσιν ἐξουσίαν οἱ τῇ σκηνῇ λατρεύοντες.

And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.

The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.

Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.

yaH praaNato nimiSato mahitvaika id raajaa jagato babhuuva

And if it be not so now, who will make me a liar, and make my speech nothing worth?

An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.

καί τινες τῶν Φαρισαίων ἀπὸ τοῦ ὄχλου εἶπαν πρὸς αὐτόν· Διδάσκαλε, ἐπιτίμησον τοῖς μαθηταῖς σου.

Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

οὐδεὶς μέντοι παρρησίᾳ ἐλάλει περὶ αὐτοῦ διὰ τὸν φόβον τῶν Ἰουδαίων.

Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?

And there went up with him both chariots and horsemen: and it was a very great company.

mandrasya ruupaM vividur maniiSiNaH shyeno yad andho abharat paraavataH

He divided the sea, and caused them to pass through; and he made the waters to stand as an heap.

Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the LORD all the day long.

καὶ τότε ὄψονται τὸν υἱὸν τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐρχόμενον ἐν νεφέλῃ μετὰ δυνάμεως καὶ δόξης πολλῆς.

The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.

abhi svaranti bahavo maniiSiNo raajaanam asya bhuvanasya niMsate

And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.
