וַתַּעֲשֶׂ֥ה אָדָ֖ם כִּדְגֵ֣י הַיָּ֑ם כְּרֶ֖מֶשׂ לֹא־ מֹשֵׁ֥ל בּֽוֹ׃

וַיְהִ֧י דְבַר־ יְהוָ֛ה אֶל־ יוֹנָ֖ה שֵׁנִ֥ית לֵאמֹֽר׃

וְה֕וּא אִשָּׁ֥ה בִבְתוּלֶ֖יהָ יִקָּֽח׃

וַיַּ֛עַשׂ אֶת־ מְעִ֥יל הָאֵפֹ֖ד מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה אֹרֵ֑ג כְּלִ֖יל תְּכֵֽלֶת׃

אָמַ֣רְתִּי לַֽ֭הוֹלְלִים אַל־ תָּהֹ֑לּוּ וְ֝לָרְשָׁעִ֗ים אַל־ תָּרִ֥ימוּ קָֽרֶן׃

וַיַּצְעֵ֤ק שְׁמוּאֵל֙ אֶת־ הָעָ֔ם אֶל־ יְהוָ֖ה הַמִּצְפָּֽה׃

padaM devasya miiLhuSo .anaadhRSTaabhir uutibhiH

Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goeth out of his mouth.

So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

إِنَّهُمْ إِنْ يَظْهَرُوا عَلَيْكُمْ يَرْجُمُوكُمْ أَوْ يُعِيدُوكُمْ فِي مِلَّتِهِمْ وَلَنْ تُفْلِحُوا إِذًا أَبَدًا

And there were windows in three rows, and light was against light in three ranks.

He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

sa vaajy a\kSaaH sahasraretaa adbhir mRjaano gobhiH shriiNaanaH

إِنْ يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ وَيَأْتِ بِآخَرِينَ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ قَدِيرًا

أُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ حَقًّا لَهُمْ دَرَجَاتٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ وَرِزْقٌ كَرِيمٌ

maho divaH sadane jaayamaano .acikradad vRSabhaH sasminn uudhan

وَلَوْ دُخِلَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ أَقْطَارِهَا ثُمَّ سُئِلُوا الْفِتْنَةَ لَآتَوْهَا وَمَا تَلَبَّثُوا بِهَا إِلَّا يَسِيرًا

Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.

Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.

Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.

For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.

patir babhuuthaasamo janaanaam eko vishvasya bhuvanasya raajaa

taa ha tyad vartir yad aradhram ugretthaa dhiya uuhathuH shashvad ashvaiH

And Chepharhaammonai, and Ophni, and Gaba; twelve cities with their villages:
