כִּֽי־ תֵצֵ֥א מַחֲנֶ֖ה עַל־ אֹיְבֶ֑יךָ וְנִ֨שְׁמַרְתָּ֔ מִכֹּ֖ל דָּבָ֥ר רָֽע׃

וְשָׁחַ֖ט אֶת־ הַצִּפֹּ֣ר הָאֶחָ֑ת אֶל־ כְּלִי־ חֶ֖רֶשׂ עַל־ מַ֥יִם חַיִּֽים׃

וַעֲשֵׂ֤ה לָהֶם֙ מִכְנְסֵי־ בָ֔ד לְכַסּ֖וֹת בְּשַׂ֣ר עֶרְוָ֑ה מִמָּתְנַ֥יִם וְעַד־ יְרֵכַ֖יִם יִהְיֽוּ׃

וְהֶאֱמִ֖ן בּֽ͏ַיהוָ֑ה וַיַּחְשְׁבֶ֥הָ לּ֖וֹ צְדָקָֽה׃

וַיֹּרֵ֗נִי וַיֹּ֥אמֶר לִ֗י יִֽתְמָךְ־ דְּבָרַ֥י לִבֶּ֑ךָ שְׁמֹ֖ר מִצְוֺתַ֣י וֽ͏ֶחְיֵֽה׃

καὶ εἴπατε Ἀρχίππῳ· Βλέπε τὴν διακονίαν ἣν παρέλαβες ἐν κυρίῳ, ἵνα αὐτὴν πληροῖς.

وَمَا يَتَّبِعُ أَكْثَرُهُمْ إِلَّا ظَنًّا إِنَّ الظَّنَّ لَا يُغْنِي مِنَ الْحَقِّ شَيْئًا إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِمَا يَفْعَلُونَ

Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves.

Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.

My son, if thou be surety for thy friend, if thou hast stricken thy hand with a stranger,

yuvaM ha kRshaM yuvam ashvinaa shayuM yuvaM vidhantaM vidhavaam uruSyathaH

Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.

tavaaham agna uutibhir nediSThaabhiH saceya joSam aa vaso

Surely I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to reason with God.

هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ لِتَسْكُنُوا فِيهِ وَالنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَسْمَعُونَ

δικαιούμενοι δωρεὰν τῇ αὐτοῦ χάριτι διὰ τῆς ἀπολυτρώσεως τῆς ἐν Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ·

saraNyubhiH phaligam indra shakra valaM raveNa darayo dashagvaiH

I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.

A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.

utaaham admi piiva id ubhaa kukSii pRNanti me vishvasmaad indra uttaraH

And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

So when this was done, others also, which had diseases in the island, came, and were healed:
