וְאַבְשָׁל֥וֹם בָּרַ֖ח וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ גְּשׁ֑וּר וַיְהִי־ שָׁ֖ם שָׁלֹ֥שׁ שָׁנִֽים׃

וַיֹּ֧אמֶר הַגֹּאֵ֛ל לְבֹ֖עַז קְנֵה־ לָ֑ךְ וַיִּשְׁלֹ֖ף נַעֲלֽוֹ׃

וַיִּשַּׁ֥ק יַעֲקֹ֖ב לְרָחֵ֑ל וַיִּשָּׂ֥א אֶת־ קֹל֖וֹ וַיֵּֽבְךְּ׃

מַ֭רְבַדִּים רָבַ֣דְתִּי עַרְשִׂ֑י חֲ֝טֻב֗וֹת אֵט֥וּן מִצְרָֽיִם׃

רַ֣ע רַ֭ע יֹאמַ֣ר הַקּוֹנֶ֑ה וְאֹזֵ֥ל ל֝֗וֹ אָ֣ז יִתְהַלָּֽל׃

לִזְבוּלֻ֕ן אֱלִיאָ֖ב בֶּן־ חֵלֹֽן׃

He taketh away the heart of the chief of the people of the earth, and causeth them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way.

فَالِقُ الْإِصْبَاحِ وَجَعَلَ اللَّيْلَ سَكَنًا وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ حُسْبَانًا ذَلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَلِيمِ

And it came to pass on the morrow, that the people went out into the field; and they told Abimelech.

وَاذْكُرْنَ مَا يُتْلَى فِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَالْحِكْمَةِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ لَطِيفًا خَبِيرًا

And the priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand:

agnir atrim bharadvaajaM gaviSThiram praavan naH kaNvaM trasadasyum aahave

bRhadrathaa bRhatii vishvaminvoSaa jyotir yachaty agre ahnaam

And when he had thus spoken, he went before, ascending up to Jerusalem.

The son of Dekar, in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and Bethshemesh, and Elonbethhanan:

Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.

الْمُلْكُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلَّهِ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ فَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فِي جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ

visho yad ahve nRbhiH saniiLaa agnir devatvaa vishvaany ashyaaH

yad iiM sumitraa visho agra indhate ghRtenaahuto jarate davidyutat

وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِنَ الصَّالِحَاتِ مِنْ ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنْثَى وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَأُولَئِكَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَا يُظْلَمُونَ نَقِيرًا

yakSmaM doSaNya\m aMsaabhyaam baahubhyaaM vi vRhaami te

anarvaaNaM vRSabham mandrajihvam bRhaspatiM vardhayaa navyam arkaiH

For he remembered that they were but flesh; a wind that passeth away, and cometh not again.
