זֹ֤את פְּעֻלַּ֣ת שֹׂ֭טְנַי מֵאֵ֣ת יְהוָ֑ה וְהַדֹּבְרִ֥ים רָ֝֗ע עַל־ נַפְשִֽׁי׃

טָבְחָ֣ה טִ֭בְחָהּ מָסְכָ֣ה יֵינָ֑הּ אַ֝֗ף עָֽרְכָ֥ה שֻׁלְחָנָֽהּ׃

vi yo ratnaa bhajati maanavebhyaH shreSThaM no atra draviNaM yathaa dadhat

He hath filled me with bitterness, he hath made me drunken with wormwood.

So David waxed greater and greater: for the LORD of hosts was with him.

vishvaani durgaa pipRtaM tiro no yuuyam paata svastibhiH sadaa naH

evaa na indo abhi devaviitim pari srava nabho arNash camuuSu

ataariSur bharataa gavyavaH sam abhakta vipraH sumatiM nadiinaam

هُوَ الَّذِي يُصَلِّي عَلَيْكُمْ وَمَلَائِكَتُهُ لِيُخْرِجَكُمْ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ وَكَانَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَحِيمًا

For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.

ima Rtasya vaavRdhur duroNe shagmaasaH putraa aditer adabdhaaH

vishvaani durgaa pipRtaM tiro no yuuyam paata svastibhiH sadaa naH

Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbour secretly. And all the people shall say, Amen.

आरुरुक्षोर्मुनेर्योगं कर्म कारणमुच्यते । योगारूढस्य तस्यैव शमः कारणमुच्यते

For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.

And all that handle the oar, the mariners, and all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships, they shall stand upon the land;
