וַיַּגִּ֣ידוּ לְמָרְדֳּכָ֔י אֵ֖ת דִּבְרֵ֥י אֶסְתֵּֽר׃

וַתִּקְחִ֛י אֶת־ בִּגְדֵ֥י רִקְמָתֵ֖ךְ וַתְּכַסִּ֑ים וְשַׁמְנִי֙ וּקְטָרְתִּ֔י נתתי נָתַ֖תְּ לִפְנֵיהֶֽם׃

כִּ֣י כֹ֥ה אָמַ֛ר יְהוָ֖ה אָנ֣וּשׁ לְשִׁבְרֵ֑ךְ נַחְלָ֖ה מַכָּתֵֽךְ׃

יֵשֵׁ֣ב ע֖וֹלָם לִפְנֵ֣י אֱלֹהִ֑ים חֶ֥סֶד וֶ֝אֱמֶ֗ת מַ֣ן יִנְצְרֻֽהוּ׃

וַאֲנִ֣י יִסַּ֔רְתִּי חִזַּ֖קְתִּי זְרֽוֹעֹתָ֑ם וְאֵלַ֖י יְחַשְּׁבוּ־ רָֽע׃

וָאֹמַר֙ אָבַ֣ד נִצְחִ֔י וְתוֹחַלְתִּ֖י מֵיְהוָֽה׃

אַל־ יְהִי־ ל֭וֹ מֹשֵׁ֣ךְ חָ֑סֶד וְֽאַל־ יְהִ֥י ח֝וֹנֵ֗ן לִיתוֹמָֽיו׃

וּבֵ֨ין עֲלִיַּ֤ת הַפִּנָּה֙ לְשַׁ֣עַר הַצֹּ֔אן הֶחֱזִ֥יקוּ הַצֹּרְפִ֖ים וְהָרֹכְלִֽים׃

וְהָיְתָ֥ה אֱד֖וֹם לְשַׁמָּ֑ה כֹּ֚ל עֹבֵ֣ר עָלֶ֔יהָ יִשֹּׁ֥ם וְיִשְׁרֹ֖ק עַל־ כָּל־ מַכּוֹתֶֽהָ׃

yad aapiitaaso aMshavo gaavo na duhra uudhabhiH

وَمِنَ الشَّيَاطِينِ مَنْ يَغُوصُونَ لَهُ وَيَعْمَلُونَ عَمَلًا دُونَ ذَلِكَ وَكُنَّا لَهُمْ حَافِظِينَ

yuvaM havaM vadhrimatyaa agachataM yuvaM suSutiM cakrathuH puraMdhaye

ayaM naabhaa vadati valgu vo gRhe devaputraa RSayas tac chRNotana

Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Howl ye, Woe worth the day!

I am gone like the shadow when it declineth: I am tossed up and down as the locust.

As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death.

Whereas our substance is not cut down, but the remnant of them the fire consumeth.

εἶπαν οὖν αὐτῷ· Τίς εἶ; ἵνα ἀπόκρισιν δῶμεν τοῖς πέμψασιν ἡμᾶς· τί λέγεις περὶ σεαυτοῦ;

Of the sons of Phinehas; Gershom: of the sons of Ithamar; Daniel: of the sons of David; Hattush.

Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee.

The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.

The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?

ἐκείνη πορευθεῖσα ἀπήγγειλεν τοῖς μετʼ αὐτοῦ γενομένοις πενθοῦσι καὶ κλαίουσιν·
