וּבְנֵ֖י יְהוֹיָקִ֑ים יְכָנְיָ֥ה בְנ֖וֹ צִדְקִיָּ֥ה בְנֽוֹ׃

מִ֤י יִתֶּן־ לִ֨י ׀ שֹׁ֘מֵ֤עַֽ לִ֗י הֶן־ תָּ֭וִי שַׁדַּ֣י יַעֲנֵ֑נִי וְסֵ֥פֶר כָּ֝תַ֗ב אִ֣ישׁ רִיבִֽי׃

לְמַטֵּ֣ה גָ֔ד גְּאוּאֵ֖ל בֶּן־ מָכִֽי׃

Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.

Behold, they say unto me, Where is the word of the LORD? let it come now.

garbhe nu nau janitaa dampatii kar devas tvaSTaa savitaa vishvaruupaH

taaM su te kiirtim maghavan mahitvaa yat tvaa bhiite rodasii ahvayetaam

ko vaam mahash cit tyajaso abhiika uruSyatam maadhvii dasraa na uutii

And when the child was grown, it fell on a day, that he went out to his father to the reapers.

And it came to pass, when Samuel was old, that he made his sons judges over Israel.

χεῖρας ταχέως μηδενὶ ἐπιτίθει, μηδὲ κοινώνει ἁμαρτίαις ἀλλοτρίαις· σεαυτὸν ἁγνὸν τήρει.

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

And in the fifteenth day of this month is the feast: seven days shall unleavened bread be eaten.

And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

ayaa iva pari caranti devaa ye asmabhyaM dhanadaa udbhidash ca

That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid;

yenaa yatibhyo bhRgave dhane hite yena praskaNvam aavitha

If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

taa nRbhya aa saushravasaa suviiraagne suuno sahasaH puSyase dhaaH

sa bhuuyasaa kaniiyo naarireciid diinaa dakSaa vi duhanti pra vaaNam
