יְבֹא֣וּנִי רַחֲמֶ֣יךָ וְאֶֽחְיֶ֑ה כִּי־ תֽ֝וֹרָתְךָ֗ שַֽׁעֲשֻׁעָֽי׃

כִּ֤י לֹ֣א לְעוֹלָ֣ם חֹ֑סֶן וְאִם־ נֵ֝֗זֶר לְד֣וֹר דור וָדֽוֹר׃

בֵּין־ שׁוּרֹתָ֥ם יַצְהִ֑ירוּ יְקָבִ֥ים דָּ֝רְכ֗וּ וַיִּצְמָֽאוּ׃

ט֭וֹבָה תּוֹכַ֣חַת מְגֻלָּ֑ה מֵֽאַהֲבָ֥ה מְסֻתָּֽרֶת׃

I became also a reproach unto them: when they looked upon me they shaked their heads.

But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.

فَاتَّخَذَتْ مِنْ دُونِهِمْ حِجَابًا فَأَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهَا رُوحَنَا فَتَمَثَّلَ لَهَا بَشَرًا سَوِيًّا

vishaaM gopaa janitaa rodasyor devaa agniM dhaarayan draviNodaam

indram id gaathino bRhad indram arkebhir arkiNaH

Of the sons of Merari; Asaiah the chief, and his brethren two hundred and twenty:

ayaM jaayata manuSo dhariimaNi hotaa yajiSTha ushijaam anu vratam agniH svam anu vratam

What is it therefore? the multitude must needs come together: for they will hear that thou art come.

If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true.

And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying, Men and brethren, hearken unto me:

λέγει αὐτῷ Σίμων Πέτρος· Κύριε, μὴ τοὺς πόδας μου μόνον ἀλλὰ καὶ τὰς χεῖρας καὶ τὴν κεφαλήν.

I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.

فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الرَّجْفَةُ فَأَصْبَحُوا فِي دَارِهِمْ جَاثِمِينَ

εἰ ἡμεῖς σήμερον ἀνακρινόμεθα ἐπὶ εὐεργεσίᾳ ἀνθρώπου ἀσθενοῦς, ἐν τίνι οὗτος σέσωσται,

So that I come again to my father’s house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God:

ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν· Οὐκ ἀπεστάλην εἰ μὴ εἰς τὰ πρόβατα τὰ ἀπολωλότα οἴκου Ἰσραήλ.
